Yes. I would bet he has been attacked in the past. I've been bitten 5 times over my lifetime by off-leash dogs. When I have to pass by someone walking their dog, I now always look at the dog immediately to assess its behaviour, to get a sense of whether the dog is relaxed and under control.

    • @StevesRealReviews

@@a24-45 - YES, I was thinking the same, I wonder if or how oftern Dog Daddy worth with HUMANS to help with dog fairs? He would be great at it. I've seen Caesar do that before also. Its like when I'm walking our Huskies, we are also always scanning the area for loose and stray dogs. We've had a Boxer come up loose on them before and try to bite them... YES it's best to be careful

A question for you Augusto. I'm curious whether you deliberately had Fendi on the "inside" (closest to you) and Gucci on the "outside". If so, and if it was because she seems more comfortable like that, what about desensitizing her to that difference? (Would that be possible / valuable / have you begun trying?)

loved the video! if you haven't already do you think you could possibly make a video on how to help build a dogs confidence. i want them to be strong, confident, and comfortable with their surroundings even if its new to them but im unsure of where to start or how to approach. i want to take my pups in the pool as well and i know 100% they want to go in and love the water since they love playing in their little dog pool, and i've seen your video on helping a dog owner get their dog to get over their fear of the pool as well, and me and my twin brother have tried to mimic what you did in that video but no matter what we do they won't take that first step into the pool. if you or anyone else could give me some advice i'd greatly appreciate it ♥

I like this example of two dogs from the same litter with two different personalities. I rescued a boy and girl from the same litter and they both have different personalities entirely. Similar to Fendi and Gucci where one is adventurous and the other shy. However, my little adventurer loves to go everywhere is reactive to other dogs and will bark at them and she hides behind me when people approach and my shy boy hates going for walks and constantly stops in the middle of walking and tries pulling me to go back inside. In your opinion is it better to train them individually or can I train them together?

Like you I loathe it when people swear; but keep in mind that no-one is born afraid of dogs ; this man has certainly been attacked by a dog in the past; and the ultimate cause of the attack would not have been the dog, but its owners.
People who are in immediate fear of their own safety are in a very emotional state -- just like the fear-aggressive dogs DD deals with -- and it is unreasonable to expect a rational response from someone in fear, any more than you would expect a fearful dog to behave in a calm and thoughtful way. People need help to overcome their fears, just like dogs.

Forgive me but you have spent 2 minutes 16 seconds of a 4.53 minute video saying the same thing several times. You only have to say it once - most people know that animals have different personalities even from the same litter. Same as children from the same parent. So all you have to say is one is better at taking instructions and the other needs a little more time and that you are going to take them in public to help they getting used to the leash, etc and then do it. You have a gift for working with dogs which wonderful and I'm glad you get the chance to do so much of it. But please one time. Thanks.
