Fantastic!!! I was out working on my 1928 Morgan replica that I am building from scratch and just came in and am enjoying watching you build your projects. I have to start video-ing my build. I am starting with an opposed twin airplane motor, mating it to an MGB transmission and then to a rear drive wheel from a Honda Goldwing. I love the look of the air cooled engine in the front. Keep up the great work my friend. I am across the pond in PA...
@@FlyingForFunTrecanair It is a modified Onan opposed twin with much larger pistons and cylinder heads. I am going for the look more than performance. I was looking for an old Tiger moth engine like the modified one in Thunderbug. Search Thunderbug prewar race car.
@@FlyingForFunTrecanair Oh really. I read somewhere that it was from a Tiger Moth. Thank you for the information because I had no idea how that could have ever come to be. I plan on using the flat twin and a turbocharger. I truly believe that look would be much more like the aeroplane look that was originally the idea.what do you think?
Another excellent episode Bry, loving the build so far and perfect choice of cushions for the bench seat, Mr Jim Hammond as awesome as ever. Keep them coming !
Constantly impressed by your fabrication skills Bry! She's coming along nicely. Special thanks to Mr Jim Hammond who has surely sold his sole to the devil to play such sweet blues guitar!
Yeah mate, again a real pleasure to see your creativity. I see you're extremely busy. Pay attention to your health on your old day(lol). Jim's music is extremely cool, love it. Keep going strong my friend, speak ya👍
@@oakswamp The wifie or the car? Apparently both still exist haha. Just googled it, she had 8 in total and still keeps one in her collection. It's the law whenever someone mentions a scimitar that you have to say "did you know Princess Anne had one?" haha
Bloody ripper Brian you sure are a fast worker , You achieved so much in 24 minutes , I am in awe of what you did in such a short time 😜 Keep em coming mate , I really are hanging out every week , Oh thank the girls for their effort 👍
Yet another brilliant video! Terrific progress on the Leaf and wonderful music from Jim Hammond. It's good to see the the support and help, but the overall direction of the build is yours alone. Good stuff!
Another superb episode, Brian. Don’t know how you manage to get the time build and make these excellent videos each week?? Brilliant music as always from Jim Hammond and great to see so many other mates mucking in to smash the Leaf out. (Sounds like a euphemism!)
Cant believe how quick this is happening.whenever i try to do anything on the cheap it always ends up looking shite!!!.well done and regards to your musician friend.....brilliant!
Man, Jim can play! And I do like the way you integrate the musical beats to your work beats. I suspect it’s a lot of fussy work, but it works great. The Leaf is so huge compared to the Rat!
Brian another great video, going to be cool looking ride man. Great music also always said those English and Scot guitar players are some of the best , playing the deep southern Yankee muse. Ever heard of a Palmer ? I came across a dash plate looks like it was a early car like early 1900s open top runner . Cool looking Brass with palmer power in script embossed on it . Anyways Brian Thanks
What your friend mentioned about the doors and using steel brackets and bolting the hinges through the wood is exactly what I did on my Riley built. Much stronger than screws into timber and also adjustable if needed.
Wow! You're ripping through this build. I used to work on narrowboats and we used universal agricultural prop shafts, they can be found at farm/agricultural merchants. probably online too these days. Myself I have been busy on supercharging My 2CV three wheeler, I'm up to hooking up her carbs and almost ready for making Loud noises again! I will get a video of it up when I can tho meanwhile I've posted a new old video of us riding up white horse hill. Best Wishes Dee
I love the profile especially that the grill shell is the same height as the cowl. It should look as if a hood could be fitted even if that’s not the intention. My 41 Ford and the Jeep under construction are both set up this way. I never cared for the look of the yellow Milner coupe with the grill shell so much lower. Great work and amazing music. Cheers Bryan, and Happy New Year

So I know about selling number plates and what not but I've never done it, what happens to a car when you put a plate on retention? Does it just get allocated a new one? Can you sell the new one? infinit money 😂 Having the front of the body a removable piece works well doesn't it Great video pal
cheers mate....when you transfer the number DVLA gives you an age related number which is non transferable....yes I think Ill keep the body so its like that , alot easier
A fascinating look at the "no fear" approach to building a neat looking street rod. All this achieved on a low budget. Watch and learn. In the mean time lets hope the Lea Francis Owners Club don't pick up on this project. They might turn up on his door step with two buckets. One marked TAR and the other FEATHERS! Seriously though all highly entertaining and I wait on the edge of my seat for the next installment.
