As you know, the Hek Ki Boen or Black Flag Wing Chun has spread worldwide. I look forward to training with all the students and instructors.
It is unfortunate, however, that we need to address some of the charges made against me and the HKB system overall in the last three years in which not a single person ever contact Sifu Kenneth Lin clarify.
We hope we can clarify our position and dispel some of the misconceptions or allegations made against us but revealing the whole true origin about the origin of Black Flag Wing Chun. This is our first official response to clarify everything and let the public knows the truth.
Black Flag Wing Chun, also known as Hek Ki Boen Eng Chun is the latest Sifu Kenneth Lin's International Curriculum, designed personally by Sifu Kenneth Lin, based on his extensive long research of:
1. Collecting and compiling the complete teaching of Late GM Kwee King Yang through all of his students that is still alive and had to opportunity to meet.
2. Investigating by learning every styles that GM Kwee King Yang learned directly at their same school/family for the purpose of FILTERING & REMOVING all non-Black Flag Eng Chun Kung Fu elements. [NCK Five Ancestor, Tai Cho Grand Ancestor, Kao Kun Monkey Boxing, Lo Han Fist Boxing, Hek Fu Black Tiger Boxing, Tat Tjun Bodhidharma Boxing, Bai He White Crane and few others]. Please be noted that Sifu Lin;s direction in choosing toward Black Flag part is because his personal preference over this particular art, it does NOT mean other arts that he filtered is less good.
3. REVIVING the original teaching of Black Flag system originated from GM Tjia Fun Tjiao, last chief instructor of Black Flag from Fujian.
In conclusion, Black Flag Wing Chun is the work of Sifu Kenneth Lin's Long extensive research of compiling, filtering and reviving the original teaching of Black Flag from Tjia Fun Tjiao. Black Flag Wing Chun is ONLY available to learn through Sifu Kenneth Lin directly or any of his official branches worldwide:

Dear everyone, I am sincerely asking everyone to watch this video first before posting any comments. I know this is a very long almost 2 hours video.
We never take any part in responding to internet slanders/attacks in the last 5 years because we want our kungfu speak for itself. We have grown so big now where we don't have the time to clarify to every members. In this video is our first and last official clarification that we never did in the last 4-5 years ever since the first internet slander started against us [There is no war, war means 2 side of party against each other, we never attack anyone, however, there are coward slanders against us using fake username].It is important to clarify once for all.
Going forward, we don't need to answer again. It is up to the public to draw their own conclusion.
We wish everyone to watch it with an open mind if you sincerely really wants to know the other side of the story.

if evaluated and based on this story, I concluded that HKB founded by Mr. Kenneth is a new color in the traditional martial arts scene, particularly from Chinese martial arts. with his research through the learning process and finally created an art and named HKB.
Based on the story above also, HKB itself has nothing to do with the "name" of a martial arts school that exists today. honestly in my personal view as a lover of art, a new color in the arts is legal, because the art itself is no limit, an art (whatever it is) will always evolve dynamically following the development of the era. And the problem is, can that art provide benefits to our life, around and also not detrimental to any party?
Why is an art have to be debated? is there any one of us dared to declare that we had the purest skills or the best of art? certainly no one have that pure one right? because it might been changes in the generations before us, that's what I mean with tyat art, it will & always evolve as ART era. in this world there is no fundamentally new things, we only can updated or fix or modify the outer shape of something / art.
My message as a lover of art are: its good & legal to create a new kind of art, but ..... we have should not & never forget from where the basics that we got, whether through research, book, and experience Personally, etc. thus create a new color of art. I'm here is only as a lover and an observers of art (neutral) and that I mentioned here is the meaning and form of art in itself, need the generosity of the art creators, practitioners and other viewers in understanding the meaning of art.
So.... at last I would like to say thank you, and sorry if there are any mistakes in the writing and the different views in the name of art. Open and honest in all the magnanimity and maturity through self is a high level of learning of life. Right and wrong there is nothing absolute in this life, lies and honesty will be paid in cash by our own KARMA. I hope that my little opinion view can be interpreted properly by the parties concerned.
An art should could unite & bound ppls, & not broke the relationship. Asa long as we could to be open, honest, & hv a responsibility about anything that what we have done.

Now everything is clear to me. Since Black Flag Wing Chun is product of GM Lin's research, I am very happy to see how this great art contribute to the today's martial arts world. Currently, I live in Russia and very interested to learn this art. How can we bring this art to my country?
If you are really interested, please contact Sifu Kenneth Lin directly. He is always looking for The first and only HKB representative from many countries, including your wonderful country, Russia. If you believe you have what it takes to establish HKB in your country and willing to train hard, the door is for sure open.
Our kung fu has been proven for years.. it makes no sense if others claimed that this kungfu is just a made up one, let the kungfu speaks for itself, because actually there's no such thing as a clarified origin in many kungfu styles, even the "original" wing chun the one which everyone knows.. the existence of Ng Mui, the monk who taught Yong Chun (founder of Wing Chun), is still be questioned..
If it should be about letting the Kung Fu speak for itself as you say, and I agree with you, then why are these people posting a nearly 2 hour long video talking, and you seemingly support it??? This lineage war going on at the moment is so boring!

Practically speaking, historical accuracy means nothing when fighting an opponent. What works will win, what doesn't work will lose.
There's a guy on RUclips interviewing from master to master, like he is searching for the earliest historical original wing chun, some long lost secret, as if that will be the strongest, truest and most undiluted. This is a kung fu fantasy and this quest will lead him nowhere.
This is as ridiculous as researching medicine by declaring that cavemen were the wisest & what they used must be the best because it was the original.
bruce lee once said, we owe our knowledge to wing chun but we will go beyond.
