He was compared to sachin tendulkar by sanjay subramanian. Sachin can play in sehwag as well as rahul dravid styles. His dikshitar renditions in vilamba kala are in the Dravid mode ! A multi dimensional and all rounded comprehensive genius is the maestro !
I remember when my son told me, he had approached Sri SHESHAGOPALAN for tutelage in CARNATIC HIGHER after my son's return from abroad after his Phd in Nerosciences.....I now realize why my son did......the rendition is par excellence.!!
Who are the accompanists? Don't understand why they don't publish this information! They were just stunningly great. The violinist was superb and the percussion tani avartanam was beyond description.
