My goodness those seats look amazing. I absolutely love the Park Ave, the Regency, and the Sedan de Ville of this period. Not so hot on the green on green, but I would still drive this.
My father had the same exact car. I remember getting my driver's license in 1984 with this car! I would say that my generation was happy to have a car back then, period! Not like these youngsters today driving cars they can't afford!
Dear Shervin, yours isnt a car, it is unique jewelery. This is exactly the kind of the car l fancied myself sitting in the velvet seats of the five star hotel comfort, of which l always told about to my friends. l wish l was born rich to have this beautiful classic Buick. So thanks for sharing it. I will download it to watch in my caravan to fancy it
My dad’s ‘79 Cutlass was a similar green exterior with white upholstery, green dash and white landau roof. Also has green rally wheels with steel trim rings. Cool car.
In the late '70s and early '80s, the US Department of Transportation made carmakers limit their speedometers to 85 mph even though many of the vehicles could actually go faster. They did this because they thought it would keep drivers from speeding, but of course that didn't work. 😂
Dear Shervings, thank you so much for your explaining. When l was a kid, l asked the same question to a car owner he said ' it is forbidden to exceed speed limits in the state'
It has been sold. It’s now with a loving new owner in Southern California where it’s being looked after and restored even further to its original factory condition.
My gosh those 43-year-old window motors work more smoothly and quickly than many modern cars.

I personally love the green on green, but I’m biased. To each their own! :)
Parker Lewis levels of watch-clock synchronization there...
I can’t lose!

Were you in California? If you were, this may have been your father’s car!

Thank you very much!

Wow, back in the days you could get a totally color keyed car.

@@mercoid My first car was my granddad's 1972 Ford LTD. That thing was a darker metallic green and so was the interior.
It was an option on Cadillac as well. My 71 Deville has a place for that button in the glove box but it's the base model sadly. lol
Myyy favorite car forever
Nice condition for its age, previous owner definitely had a foot collection.
I’m guessing you meant “good collection”, but yes!
The first car I got to drive, at least that I can admit to
I just subscribed to your videos keep some coming
Some trim seems to be missing from the steering wheel. Beautiful car.
Yup, good eye. It was removed at some point by a previous owner, but I’m including a spare one in need of refinishing to the buyer.
Does The A/C still work?
Just sold the car. It didn’t work while I owned it, but the new owner plans to fix it.
But why does the speedometer says 85 MHP an hour? lt is an 8 cylinder vehicle
