The poshest of Buick’s. Park Avenue. A common theme in this line only is the seat trim work that would normally be chrome on other Buick’s is also covered in matching velour. Electroluminescent opera lamps was fairly new technology back then. Was like a flat white LED. Has a look all its own. 👍🏼Great job.
It's buick 350, see the distributor in the front and crooked instead of straight up and down, some Cadillac engines had front angled distributors too. But caddy motor wasn't available for this car.
I had the identical car, color, everything. Had the 350. But didn't have those wheels. They look like they came from an earlier Wildcat. Or similar. Mine had mirrors both sides. I put on something like 150-180k on it. No problems, except the weird thing is I had to replace front springs at about 110k. Once it got old, on a really hot day it would blow oil out the oil pump vent hole. But only if I was doing over 80. I just had to watch my mirror and slow down if needed, could see the smoke from it hitting the exhaust.
Every option in the world but no right outside mirror. That cracks me up.
Real nice car. I always like these model Buicks.

How ever came with this looks for 79 Buick is my friend.
Even in 1979, this was when they MADE cars!
Amazing that the red interior has not yellowed and the headliner has not dropped.
Nothing would’ve be better than that Buick - is Another - Buick , 79 nicest GM eras.
I had one of these . Great snow car, great highway car too. The best interior of all makes
There is one around town with bad paint job but looks cool either way
I noticed the digital radio, it's this the first year for it?
A splendid Buick :)
At least, in this Electra 79 white tailights are visible and well placed
I thought only Cadillac had that type of steering wheel
Certain things run in the GM family!
For a very rare few Buick, that Cadillac steering wheel was used.
Beautiful from inside and outside, much better looking than the preceding model.
This car is awesome!
1998 Mercedes Benz
How much do you sell
It is missing its passenger-side mirror!
They're all like that
@@Skankhunt_420 Agree with you, man. On that time some full size sedans had a driver-side mirror only.
Beautiful.
You should do a video with you walking us through the history of the car I think that be great . I couldn’t tell if it was a 350 or 403 ? Nice car
350 but not sure if it was Buick or Chevy.

The 403 has its oil filler at the front.
@@moosehand8721base engine is the 231 V6. You could also get a Pontiac 301 V8 or an Oldsmobile 403 V8.
... Does this one have the bored-out Olds V-8... to a 403 c.i.d. ? ...
What's the name of the color of the paint the buick has?
I'll look it up first chance I get.
myyyyyyy favorite buick
Is This Buick Limited for sale, if so what is the asking price? Looks like a 350 Buick Block.
It's not a Buick Limited. It's a Buick Park Avenue.
Does this have a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 or 400?
350
🙏🌹👍
Crummy wheels. Parked by a doofus. Who the hell backs the car to no where and then cranks the wheels? Answer: a doofus.
