is it posible that this kind of super long case study shows in AAPC cpc exam? beacuse it takes so much time to read, find the code in the book and select the proper and correct answer.
Hello ,we also so excited to learn medical coding but we don't have proper knowledge for this particular course and how to completel this course .. Please suggest me .. Thanks
Turns out this was on my CH 7 AAPC Practical Application Review Test. According to AAPC the correct codes for this case are 15830, 15847, E65, M62.08. I can send you the AAPC document and their reasoning if you’d like.
Great question. This was explained on or around 20:59, because this encounter did not occur during the puerperium period, you should not use pregnancy complication codes, and the personal history codes are pertinent to this encounter.
So excited for this! Currently taking medical coding! These case studies are everything right now!

So far from the literature sent from AAPC, my answer is not likely, maybe half the size, but that could change next year.

Thank you. If you go to the description. There are instructions. Please let us know if they are helpful.
Doesn’t M62.0 need a 5th? Shouldn’t it be M62.00 or would it be M62.08? I was thinking M62.08
Can you provide us with a time stamp please
23:02 you are listing it in the final list of correct codes

It to hard to understand 😢
Just put in the work and don't give up and you will make it out
M62.0 is an incomplete code
I got O71.89 not M62.0 and i'm trying to figure out where I went wrong. If anyone out there has a clue what I missed i'd appreciate it. Thanks!!
