My scalp hurts just looking at this. Literally a piece of me at every haircut I got. Literal pieces of scalp scraped off by those rough ass clippers

I've always had a small lock of hair in the front, that defies all efforts to cut it. I was the only Jarhead in the 1976 yearbook with a comb-over.

He told me something about his ex-wife comming home from a deployment while in the Army, something about her bringing home a footlocker and him deciding to open it. He said that what he found destroyed the whole way he looked at her and he signed up for a divorce immediately. I was a post-crucible Marine by then so I was comfortable with asking what the absolute fuck he must have found, but didn't have time. If you're going to Parris Island soon, remember to ask, and remember to tell me what the fuck it was in that footlocker.
