They should have kept this, just because of how fun it was. I dont know why whenever I went, NOBODY would be in line for it like what! I would go on it with just my brother and it was so fun.
I operated this ride back in 2011 and it was a blast because it was so fun to watch people's reactions. However, it was an absolute maintenance nightmare, probably one of the if not the most unreliable ride at the park. It had poor ride programming and strange construction choices, like choosing to use optical sensors to give the computer critical info on where the ride was, when those exact sensor could be obstructed if the wind blew the water in the wrong directing. After a while I could predict a certain error/fault a minute or more in advance because it had a telltale sign and happened so often and I'd already have maintenance on the way. Or there was the time it was down for over a month due to them needing to ship parts in from the manufacturer in Germany. Fun ride to ride and watch, but it was removed for a good reason lol.
@lexih6483 And it was very hard to maintain. If the wind blew unexpectedly they had to stop the ride, and the ride was very hard to predict so for safety, they had to remove it.
