I watched this clip back in 2007 when I was 13 and sick at home just youtube browsing and bullshittin. This clip made me wanna try snowboarding and I been hooked since. Even ended up working at Burton for a few years. This clip is where it all started, I loved the community and fun you dudes portrayed. Thank you for introducing my first love and continuous passion.

They hurtin badly for snow, and actually trucking it in from higher elevation there. I live on Vancouver Island, and our main ski hill, Mt Washington has the largest base of any hill in North America at 388 cm as of today. I hopeCypress gets alot of snow soon!
personally i like to ride a gnu board but some other good boards are ride,rome,5150,k2,forum,basiclly any board besides burton because a lot of there boards have a foam inner core witch is really easy to break.the most important part of your equipment is your boots,if your boots arent snug and warm than you wont have fun.you dont have to buy the most expensive board to make yourself look good, it's about whats right for you.never give up,trust me i know its hard. HAVE FUN OUT THERE!!
i don't know who that guy is, but at 1:43 the 3 and 5 are the best i've ever seen.. even alot of pros have this huge wind up, this guy doesn't wind up, he just does it he makes it look so easy, good shit..

i love snowboarding man. i was with my skool in austria for my second time. i saw my instructor go up powder ramp i tried did a frontflip and landed i didn't know how i did it lol.i just ran staright into it

I Am a sportive person I love sports and enjoy sport every single day. But I've never been on winterholiday, see? That's why I don't know the brands of clothing and accessories. I'm going to spend my winterholidays in Austria to have my first Snowboardexperience with friends and I'm simply looking forward to it

hey dude im 14 to and i started a few years ago. start with small jumps and just go bigger everytime. if your gonna do bigger dont do it on an icy day tho.
do you always use parkboards to do that stuff or all mountain boards cause im hesitating wich kind to buy i like to do alot of tricks but gowing in the deep snow is so relax please reply

k2,burton,solomon all good boards around 300-600 or the top models 600-1200 But since your just starting it is best to rent your gear while you take some pro lessons nothing is worse than learning from someone who can't teach and you pick up bad habits.

sweet vid. and ive got a snowboardin question. i bought a mini board and i wanna be able to control it really well with only one binding on. i was wondering if covering it with regular skateboard griptape would work better than a stomp pad. if not whats the name of a really good stomp pad cuz most of the ones ive had i hanvent been satisfied with
@snowboardislife01 do what i do. wakeboard in the summer and snoboard in the winter. but i agree that feeling where you cant wait to go snowboarding sucks
wish i could snowboard but we don't have that kind of environment here nor i know how to well that's kind of obvious :P that's one of the things i would like to do and be good at so much adrenalin and so much fun :D
@Jremz1988 For an average athletic person, they should be able to pick up snowboarding within 3 days of riding. One side will come naturally to you whether it is toe side or heel (usually heel). Balance is key. The longer you are on your board and not your ass the faster you will learn. Have fun, don't give up, keep riding.
If you're good, work at a mountain for a couple seasons, join the snowboard instructors association, go train with pros during the summer down south. Thats what I do.

i started when i was 13 with your exact problem, just start with a really small jump, like a roll then build your way up slowly
