I listen to this everyday
I was born in Britain to Jamaican parents, in 1968 my older brother came from Jamaica singing Jamaican songs. We weren’t allowed such music in our strict Christian household, but when I left home I could reconnect with the Studio one, Trojan records, Rock steady. Toots and the Maytals and all that good stuff. I needed to hear and reconnect. Thank God for you as well !

UB40 was so recognizable. I don't play any instrument well, jus a bit, but bass is one of my favourites especially reggae basslines. I found basslines of Gregory Isaac's music so very recognizable and i love it!
The closest a human can ever be to being as comfortable as a cat is to listen to those baselines.

I played some of these a while back in a band and the big problem I had was remembering the rhythms for each so I managed to learn enough to be able to write somewhere near the correct notation as a memory aid - and here they are all done properly! Great lesson and invaluable having notation and tabs to accompany it thanks so much.
Thank you Nicky, I hope you still strive to remember them. Tip! Put them all in a playlist and listen to nothing else for a month. Would love to hear that you can run all 20 by memory. keep me posted👊🏾
