Ultimate frisbee is a fun sport, at my highschool me and a lot of people have started playing it and ive made some sick sliding catches. its so fun watching people make these catches -gives me the chills

Same I’m a sophomore at my school playing ultimate and having a blast playing against other teams and making friends with everyone on my team and being happy doing all of it
I truly appreciate my HS teacher, Mrs. Lugo for teaching me about Ultimate Frisbee. It was the funnest game of the entire year and I was able to pull sooo many of these plays because no one was willing to throw their body around to catch a Frisbee. Felt like a badass that whole time.
Ultimate is really fun ! It’s so cool seeing everyone run across large fields just to grab a disc even if it’s a few cm off the ground. Even people in their teens are really talented and can run crazy fast to win a point. Not to mention, the discs fly fast and it’s hard to keep up with them. One of my favourite things however, is that a lot of coaches that train younger people teach them how to layout safely, so that if they do, they won’t just fall on their faces and get hurt.
I miss this a lot but have great memories playing for fun with college kids when I was in America. Though I didn't look the part physically, I was blessed with a strong arm and could throw long distances. At first, they were shocked. I have stories to tell. Memories, memories; thank God for those fun times that I'll cherish for the rest of my life 🙏🏼
It looks more like football in these clips. But if you watch a match it’s too slow, I hate how they can’t run with it they just stand there. If you’re gonna stand there then do it like football with QB and downs

Me and my friends used to play this with a big group every lunch at high school and people thought we were dorks but it’s actually one of the most fun games to play
Sportsmanship is a huge part of Ultimate. Most games, even at the professional level, do not have referees and instead rely on the players to call their own fouls
@sniclops15 It grossed all the kids out, especially when you threw the squid so it spun and all the tentacles spread out. Jessica was an evil mastermind youth group coordinator with a tricksy game every year. 😊 She trained her replacement to do the same. 😂
I played this for a few seasons in the London Summer League and it's definitely the funnest most intense team sport experience I've ever had. Awesome sport.
Ultimate frisbee always brings back good memories. So many games as a kid running around in a parking lot or a field with a bunch of friends. It’s one of those sports/games that anyone can get into because it’s really exciting without high risk of injury. I’m glad to see it reaching such high levels of competition!

I actually feel a lil dumb; it's such an obviously game to play in retrospect. So I assume once you catch the Frisbee you can run with it, and the other person can only try to block your shot?
Myself and one other guy (O.T.) from California taught a group of inmates in Alabama (1985-87 Draper) how to play Ultimate Frisbee and they were hooked. My favorite sport before getting my legs taken in a motorcycle accident. Each player has to be a bit of QB and WR all the time. Great competitive fun!

I play this at my summer camp each year. By far one of my favorite sport activities up there.
Our church youth group played about a decade ago. But they played Ultimate Squidsby, with some dead squid from the market. :)
