What if there’s no pocket and no cavity but dark around the roots? Not necessarily like the typical photos of apical periodontitis ? But like someone airbrushed dark partially see thru shadows in non localized areas around the roots. Periradicular radiolucency I think it might be called? I think the lamina dura is widening and there’s a piece of tooth that broke off. I’m on the fence between a RC vs implant . I saw a video about doing a Vital Pulp Therapy to save the pulp but dentists said it’s too late. So I’m confused between the opposition against root canals AND implants as the truth might be that it’s all about the bone health regardless if a root canal is done or an implant. The bone has to be healed . Holistic or biological dentists don’t really show many videos about the adult molars that might seem like a hopeless tooth, and extractions are the only solutions. But in the Middle East, it seems like they are teaching many pulp and adult tooth saving treatments which are not taught here in the USA . Or perhaps the treatments are taught such as surgical extrusion technique or transplanting wisdom teeth into extracted spaces or hemisection but dentists don’t do the procedure.
