    10 bands. Presets. MIDI change. Expression pedal compatibility. Stereo. A/B Channels for technical routing possibilities. If you think an EQ pedal is a superfluous addition to your board, think again. It can do a lot. Here I show you just a little. This is a good one. Don't be afraid.

    This is by far the best Guitar tone video ever👏👏👏. The very moment you switched preset Nr 4 I could tell it was a Bassman sound out of a plexi! You remain my favorite tone master!

      Thanks, Alfie! I'll have to revisit the video to see what you meant, but I appreciate the comment. Cheers.

    Just picked one up today. Great video and it goes to show just how powerful an EQ is at tone shaping. I seriously don’t know why so many people sleep on getting an EQ.

    I need to stop watching your videos Brett, that's another one you've sold me on mate.
    Excellent as ever, hope you are keeping well.

    Such a winner, this pedal. Routing is everything! Being able to have that flexibility with an EQ opens up so much. A novel use of this pedal is to use both mono lines to A/B two settings. Better than that, I love using it in stereo to program curves into all four memory slots to figure out which best fits a mix! I can compare subtle or extreme processing to my heart's delight with ease.

    From BOSS Facebook page:
    BOSS 200 SERIES VERSION 1.1 SOFTWARE UPDATE IN MID-JANUARY
    The free Version 1.1 software update brings increased flexibility to the BOSS 200 series, greatly expanding the onboard memory capacity for storing and recalling sounds. There are now 128 user setups available, with groups of four memories-plus the current panel setting-available for fast access on the pedal. Setups can also be recalled directly via external MIDI program change messages. Stay tuned!
    I love my EQ-200!

    Brett thanks, you are a wealth of info. I like your clear and honest explanations and side humour here. I bought a cheap GI and discovered how useful they are. Ill chuck it out and get this. Cheers

    Love running this pedal in my amp's effects loop. It becomes a very powerful toneshaper for the amp's overall sound

    Cool pedal...great demo...The Waza TAE has EQ’s built into it,so you really wouldn’t need the pedal when using the TAE.....or would you??

    • @Tiger1016.
      @Tiger1016. 3 года назад +1

      The TEA effects are post cab emulation, so if that is where you were wanting to put this EQ, then yes, it would be redundant. But want an EQ in front of the amp or in the amps loop, then you would need something separate like this.

    Am I viewing correctly but do I see 3x Shin ei pedals from the 70s on your shelving? if so they were great little pedals for the time, and still have their charm.
    I still have an old wah pedal I bought in the 70s, it has a good freq-range with a smaller foot sweep unlike some other wahs of the time such as the Morley Wah-vol

    I love this pedal, but can I fit it onto my board and run off a relatively normal power supply? It seems to be different to everything else. It’s seriously putting me off.
