I really wanted to have Baldric burst out his bedroom with a steampunk fantasy shotgun wearing slippers and tasseled night cap. Then roar "IN MY HOUSE?!"
Rehua's lightning blast was somewhat the equivalent of blasting a ruffian with a flintlock musket, and then Vina eventually managed the smoothbore pistols... maybe should have narratively declared that the shots which missed went through the drywall and nailed a neighbour's dog. Shame there was no cannon full of silverware though (aka Anarchic Blast)
Slightly above severe?! I am sorry, what?! 😱Um, right, I guess the DM taking off the gloves effect was amplified by a string of horrendous rolls the party had, like Vina was not having a good time… But well, you win some, you lose some. Then again, I dread the day that shows us what an extreme encounter looks in Thurston’s mind 😨
Severe means a significant chance of one or more party members dieing, and small but meaningful potential of a TPK. This was above that, in terms of enemy power - and normally, only the players get hero points, not the GM, who used *eight* this session. Then you consider that they started combat with the party split, 3 of them unconscious and in different rooms, and of those 3 none of them were wearing their armor, and one was suffering from alcohol poisoning (sickened 1) - then you consider that the players spread damage around, while the enemies focused one target at a time, the players had some bad rolls, the alchemist mostly sandbagged "due to not being prepped", the GM forgetting that flurries are once per round and doing 2 or 3 per round for the first 3 rounds of combat for several enemies, a few other serious misplays on the players parts (oran could have just used a hero point to remove the dying condition rather than reroll his crit fail, among many other things), and that's more than enough to upgrade a "severe+" encounter to extreme. Extreme encounters are supposed to be 50/50 odds of a TPK. So....
I Narratively Declare that Vina misses her two shots, throws the pistol down in frustration, and the gun goes off and drills the guy in one ear and out the other.
Man this was painful, just for how absolutley shit the rolls were. Like, flavorfully, this makes sense and made for a truly trying bout, but jesus christ Vena getting shafted on every damn roll outside the last shot was just frustrating
I can't tell you how much I have been waiting for the next episode to release. Always a treat to watch you guys :D Edit: I really think you need a better system for your hero points. I have noticed multiple times now, that Zoran forgot to deduct them from you guys. This can give cool moments, where somebody makes a roll against all odds, but... it doesn't feel right, if they never should have had that hero point to begin with.
Thurston...are you ok? Everything good? Just seems you unleashed A LOT of rage on our PCs this ep, I think I counted 8 villian points used! Though it was cool to see what my class can do at high levels
Man, this is why flurry of blows is supposed to have the flourish trait. Two attacks for every action do be busted - Rehua got his as whooped before Thurston found out lmao Edit: Does Baldric have bisexual lighting in his chemical fire? Very important question. Edit 2: Grab would not stop an attack, it only stops actions with the manipulate tag, like interact
The weird "I'm the only other person I know whose brain would go in that direction" references continue, with, this time, TMBG's "Dead". Maybe one day Baldric will apologise for when he was 8 and he made his younger brother have to be his personal slave?
Hey zoran the bear just wanted to let you know when you set that test stream to private this morning I think it removed the video from those who are not members
This doesn't matter but I just dislike watching them fail because I always want people to have fun and enjoy games mainly because my life suck and it just suck that I heard that thurtin getting a lot of bits so he gets a ton of villain points which even the playing field but villain can get nat 1 failure like the party and that suck gives them a bigger disadvantage but I wish I could help but college keeps me busy so I just hope you guys have a good day the best I can do sorry and good luck

The nightcap is stretched over the top of his bucket naturally.
TOUCHIN MY STUFF?!

In middle of are house are house 🎶
I don’t know what’s funnier, the players slowly breaking down as the rolls get worse, or seeing the chat rage. Fantastic episode
My head cannon is whenever oran's dragon goes "ewaagh" it's because it's the wooden form creaking between its appendages as it moves.
When the GM takes the gloves off you are in for a treat.
Can confirm.

"Tannhauser, Do War Crimes!" We need that on a Shirt!!
Baldric heats his house with old tires.
I Narratively Declare that Vina misses her two shots, throws the pistol down in frustration, and the gun goes off and drills the guy in one ear and out the other.
Kinda expected Baldric to bust out if his bedroom, wang to the wind, and just start blasting people
Half of this episode is just south london
Edit: nevermind it's the whole video
Never been so early since they fought a bear in a cage
Man this was painful, just for how absolutley shit the rolls were. Like, flavorfully, this makes sense and made for a truly trying bout, but jesus christ Vena getting shafted on every damn roll outside the last shot was just frustrating
Its official that gorgamonger screams: weeeeeeh
When Vina went full Red Dead mode at the last second I died laughing. It was so perfect
In this episode the party gets their sh!t kicked in.
That combat was... Something.
I am back from my hiatus... and I still *THINK OF THEM.*
Odo! Get out of my goddamn walls! There's asbestos in there! 😂

I will aggressively leave the comment instead >:)
@@NarrativeDeclarationaggressive and toxic, hostile gm
@deadlydestroya aggressive and toxic chat, too.
I'm a simple viewer. I see Tannhauser go Unga Bunga I smile.
Welcome to the circus of value
“Come back when ya got more money, buddy!”
This one is a worthy contender of the title: Tension so high imma bout to shit diamonds
Baldric finally called the exterminators to remove the party
Never thought we see a Tag Team of Fire and Wood.
In outset wood burns you
Never actually been here so early! Got a bit of catching up to do before I can watch this one, but the thumbnail and title have me SO HYPED-
Guys! Hold it! They have a podcasts????!!!!!!!!
I swear it feels like Thurston might’ve been trying to get a little payback over last episode… hot damn.
And I thought my rolls were cursed, poor Odo...
And my day off jusy got way better

It does have the flourish trait I think. At least according to the books and archive of nethys site.
The dice were so very very cruel this session 😅
1:28:58 *gets flashes of an AI toilet and a red slime guy*
Such an amazing episode, it was a nail biter.
So close.
I really wish i could run a session like this with my players.
This was not a fight.
This was a massacre
I'm glad I'm not playing in this campaign because after a session like that, I probably would have just quit.
This was a really cool fight the punishment for using there class mechanics or inability to use em meant it was genuinely hard
"Woe, malatove be upon ye!"
Glorious chaos
WOW, just wow.
The weird "I'm the only other person I know whose brain would go in that direction" references continue, with, this time, TMBG's "Dead". Maybe one day Baldric will apologise for when he was 8 and he made his younger brother have to be his personal slave?
GM: makes one hard encounter.
Party: whinging.
:p
Amazing thumbnail
only now i understand Earndil inspiration for character. 3S and 6E🙃
Hey zoran the bear just wanted to let you know when you set that test stream to private this morning I think it removed the video from those who are not members
I confused the 15th with the 18th so i missed the campaign 😢
YAY!
Man, Zedic energy is strong here
This is what happens when the party has "ambush" played agajnst it
I'm enjoying how Speaker never recharges his Spellstrike. I genuinely feel like the class functions better (without breaking anything) that way.
I would have just left.and I thought I got bad rolls
"oh a fight, fast forward."
*3 hours compressed into 3 minutes later*
"ah... ok :/"
1:47:31 excuse me? Lol
I love this series, but this was painful to watch.
