Great information! I'm meeting with a cardio thoracic surgeon Sept. 27th, and this video eased my anxiety somewhat! Thank you for all that you do! True heroes ❤🎉
Good question. Yes, the Cleveland Clinic will review test results to assess a potential patient. To learn more, please call (888) 517-2087 or visit www.heart-valve-surgery.com/hospital/cleveland-clinic-microsite.
I had a tripple heart bypass 4 years ago. I also had a mitral valve that was leaking and which the doc had to repair during my operation but for some reason did not. Even my cardiologist was surprised at this. 4 years later and the valve is leaking worse. I have been getting dizzi spels and also a tagikardia basically daily. Could the leaking valve be causing this. I am also a diabetic. I must say the pain after my bypass was terriblly sore. I signed consent for the bypass and the valve replacement. Now I will probably have to have surgery to repair the valve. I believe there is different ways to do it without having to open my chest again. I will not ever have actual open heart surgery again. It was to painfull.
Given your symptom, we would encourage you to see you physician to learn more about your condition and potential minimally-invasive therapies. Sorry to hear that your valve is leaking so bad.
I had a heart attack four weeks after my Aortic valve was replaced with a mechanical valve and a double bypass was carried out but I needed a triple bypass. The one they left out caused my heart attack which I needed to be defibbed back to life from in the back of the ambulance, they then performed a balloon ablation through my left wrist this time. I remember being on the OR table and hearing "congratulations team, we done it, well done everyone" I was that close to the end.
Thank you for informing us on the amazing progress your team has achieved on repairing hearts!

Yes, will you all at the Cleveland Medical Clinic review test results to help assess a potential patient? Even if they are from another State?
