I've been a cowboys fan too long bro, die hard, and I'm tired of sitting back watching teams get better and we continue to make the same moves in the typical cowboys way. I want to be proven wrong, but I can only go by what I see at this point, not what they say. They say we want to run the ball, they say they ALLLL in and I don't see anything but the typical cowboys way and moves.

So what is Dak Prescott having a losing record against teams with a winning record. For example, he threw for 700 yd eight touchdowns and one pick against my commanders which they sucked. But then you come across teams like Green Bay and Mark Holmes said oh we need a running game. You guys ran for 123 yd Green Bay ran for 140. Make it make sense? Mark Holmes is the skip Bayless of RUclips.
The last time I said this is "our year" was the last year they won the Super Bowl. I knew they wouldn't win the year after they beat the Steelers.

I've definitely gone to far with signing of players and what not but I have chilled out I am seeing Jerry and Stephen plan kinda take form and so far I hate to admit it I'm kinda liking what I see happening and I'm trusting that their plan also includes the signing of our stars I have accepted the fact I just need to step back and let what happens happen my only prayer is that Dak, CeeDee and Micah are gonna continue to be a big part of the Cowboys Future moving on anyways thanks for the good consistent content on our Team.

NO ONE available at this time of year is really that good. The best players are the unavailable ones... The ones you have to actually trade assets for.
I think the fanbase just wants dallas to make "moves" during draft and free agency.. it feels very much like every team around us makes moves and we just sit there... so when a big "name" visits fans get excited to see the potential signing being bigger than it actually is... which lets be honest a FA signing for dallas is a big move in itself because its so rare.

Devils advocate point though: is there an argument to be made that Zay Jones has some of those statistics such as drops or depth of target because of his teams line or the play of the quarterback?

Or: is Jalen Tolbert SIMPLY suffering from lack of snap count?
That’s where I’m stuck… the jags haven’t been a great team or a team you can think of as a year in year out playoff team, so I’m wondering if Zay Jones is a better receiver than Tolbert if he had a top QB like Dak throwing his way. I feel like there’s a case to be made that Zay Jones would have provided depth and maybe even been a great number 3 given the roster of our team vs the jags.
I talk about this all the time about receivers who are probably great but just on bad teams and I think Zay Jones fits that category

Look, I am always take into account my biasness as a fan, that said, Zay is Noah Brown. 500 yard WR. Not a WR2. Good size and speed, but what's John Ross career stats? Russell Gage and Hunter Renfrow are the only FA WRs left that would get me excited to hear about.
