  • This is a fantastic pad for those who camp, car camp, and do backpacking. The pad has a four season rating of 4.3, It weighs only 1lb 15oz. When the weather becomes too inclement for my tent, at only 3" thick I don't loose a lot of headroom when using in my vehicle. I love this pad, check it out! I purchased it on Rei's outlet site.

      Hey there. I’m glad you found my video and benefited from it! I absolutely love this pad, the thinness of it to some questioned its comfort but that’s not the case at all, It is so comfortable you will be impressed along with its durable construction. Yeah, I was sold on the color too!
      Any chance of a subscription? I’d appreciate it very much 🙏 and I have a lot more content coming, as I’m transitioning from my SUV to a VW Vanagon Syncro 💥

    Thanks for your review and for showing how it fit in your vehicle. Was interested in this exact pad - the 25" wide one. Looks comfy. I have arthritis and am wondering if this is soft enough on the shoulders and hips.

      Thanks so much for watching my video and that it was helpful to you. I am very pleased with how comfortable the pad is, I do keep mine on the more firm side but I have tried it with less air and it felt good that way as well and the pad didn't bottom out, it still stayed supportive.
      The "fine tune" valve is very helpful for making adjustments.
      Good luck with your search, I believe you'll be happy with Sea To Summits' product 👍

    Does it feel like an inflatable mattress like the type sea to summit ether light or like a real foam mattress without the squishing around and more like a firm bed?

    • @mylifeafter50
      @mylifeafter50  Год назад +1

      To me it does not have an air mattress feel. I am not familiar with a Sea to Summit air mattress though. I also not like an uncomfortable firm bed mattress. The construction of the pad in my opinion is more dense and I believe more durable than what’s used for air mattresses. When fully blown up it’s very firm but that’s the beauty of the adjustable valve and the pad can be made softer. I hope my answer helped and thanks a bunch for watching my video 😀

    Random non related question, what kind of shoes are those?

    • @mylifeafter50
      @mylifeafter50  5 месяцев назад +1

      Ha, I got these at Rack Room Shoes. Brand is HIGHLAND CREEK. I think the style is Riptide. I’ll say they’re a mid grade. Cost about $50. I got good use out of them as a water shoe, decent but not really aggressive tread.
      Thx a bunch for watching my video though 🙌
