So sad that Markets around the country are diminishing. Its due to many reasons, lack of investment, older customers dying off, online shopping, excessive parking charges, market traders retiring and younger family not taking on the stalls. Iits a crying shame as markets were the hub of a town or city, dating back hundreds of years. A great social interaction, bargains, and a way of sharing wealth.

The Great Western is the best! The Lych Gate, Combermere, Royal Oak, Posada (though not been in there for a while) - all great pubs in Wolvo too, if you like good beer. The Giffard is classic place to end up, with a crowd of good-hearted, rock and metal loving folk. Glad to see both sides of Wolftown shown here! Cheers, man. Glad the Northern chap liked it too. I'm fairly certain there are much better pubs in Dudley than the Pie Factory (been a while since I've been for a drink...). Hang on, int the Pie Factory in Tipton anyway? Fake news! 😂
Appreciate it would be a difficult one to approach people with, certainly the types you interviewed at the beginning but part of me would like to see what these people think if you asked them about the poor state of their town (like you so excellently do already) and then a follow up question of what they've done to help fix it. Not to intentionally put them down or frustrate them or anything... I've been there myself. A lot of the people you come across seem like they may be where they are 50% because of their locale and 50% because of not being able to control their own internal struggles. It's a feedback loop but you don't leave that loop but keeping on going round and round

Hope you're doing well! I've been following your content this year and just wanted to say I really appreciate what you're putting out. If you're ever around Nottingham or Derby, I'd be more than happy to show you around. Some rough areas in Derby would be interesting to have a gander at. Nottingham’s got its spots too - Hyson Green’s a bit rough and full of crackheads, and Bulwell isn’t much different. If you fancy stopping by, just drop me a message!

Wednesfield born and bred. I’ve seen you here before and by your accent I knew you were a wolves lad! We’ve probably been in the same pubs at the same time way back when? And know some of the same people that used to frequent the pubs in and around town. The old still, town hall tavern… then Yates, hogs head, royal London later on….? The great western was, and still probably is a postie’s pub. We all used to go in there after our rounds back in the day. When is was job and knock and you’d be in the pub for 11am! Top work fella. Great video fellas. Wish I could hang out. Miss Britain for that reason. The US is ok but ain’t the same. Cool tattoos by the way. Would like to know the story behind Danny’s.
Found Danny from your channel love you guys content. Thanks
Awwww man.....I remember Brucieeeeee from that wolverhamton bbc black mamba documentary. Man he has lost allot of weight. Hope he finds the answers he needs .
"I'm trying to explain to a bloke from Huddersfield" - fighting talk, love Danny's cool and calm "It's not Huddersfield, it's Manchester" :D
🤣🤣🤣
I left in 1985 to live in Australia, still home and visit every year or so, But sadly a very different place to what it used to be unfortunately
My Uncle left Northern Ireland to Australia in the mid-1970s to get away from _"The Troubles"._ He's only came back once to see his sister; my mum.
@@Rick_Cleland only 1 visit in 50 years, that’s pretty sad, I feel guilty if I leave it more a year , as I have family back there, although I have met some people here who have never returned and no intentions to,
The Giffard Arms is my type of pub. Draught Guinness has a shelf life so has to sell well to maintain it's quality.
Wendall,
Enjoyed The Tour.
Would Have Been A Tad Better If You Had Included The World Class Facilities At Dunstall Park.
Thank You Guys.
Hope you're doing well! I've been following your content this year and just wanted to say I really appreciate what you're putting out. If you're ever around Nottingham or Derby, I'd be more than happy to show you around.
Some rough areas in Derby would be interesting to have a gander at. I’ll go out on a limb and say Osmaston Rd in Normanton is one of them - it looks like there's quite a significant segregation between the white and Arab communities.
Nottingham’s got its spots too - Hyson Green’s a bit rough and full of crackheads, and Bulwell isn’t much different. If you fancy stopping by, just drop me a message!
Appreciate the comment and I’d be happy to take you up on the offer. Can you email me to make contact? The address is in the channel ‘about’ section
@@WendallExplores Hi Wendall, I've just dropped you an email.
I'd love you to come to evesham in the west mids mate. another failing small market town, even with a huge amount of well off people living here, no problems stemming from immigration, infact its the one thing keeping the town going. we have a bad mix of terrible traffic management, incompetent and highly corrupt councilors and incompetent town planning.
love your vlogs wendell we love wednesfield wolverhampton hearth of midlands
My mate recognised yous from RUclips video, we were sitting behind you's, ready for Massive Wagons gig.Yea great pub.
You should come to kidderminster mate and do a video lol you'll love the town and alcoholics and druggies everywhere. Plus all the shops we have lol
Bloke with the dog, I’m always popping into B&M where he sits regularly and buy his dog pedigree chum. Really nice bloke looks after his dog well.
Hi mate, I'd try McGhee's if you're in Wolvo next time and are looking for a Guinness, it's about as good as gets in there outside of Dublin in my opinion.
Giffard arms!!! Great metal venue.... played a few gigs there 👍👍 mindless torture/warlord uk👍👍👍
Kestrel super is ❤️ I've been drinking it for 30 years and my liver and kidneys are 100% yeeees
Hey dude 😊 where ya get ya cap from I love it
Wednesfield born and bred. What part of wolves are you from Wendall?
Dudley is tragic to look at now, I only live down the road but its an embarrassment seeing how the areas decline has a knock on effect to people that live there, its partly why i want to move somewhere rural in shropshire as its only going to get worse...
Loving your shows buddy
Thank you
Every Town and City going the same way ....... hmmmm I wonder why ?? Great videos
Wendell I live in wolves and used to live near to Brucie In merridale. I like Brucie and have a lot of time for him, but one, he has not had that dog since the bbc 3 doc from 2013/14. He had a different dog, a staff cross pit which used to repeatedly bite him.
The dog missy he has only had since Covid.
Two as much as he protests otherwise, he has accommodation.
Like I say i have time for Brucie and like him but hate when people lie about their circumstances.
Keep up the channel and good work
Keep up your empathetic approach to interviewing mate I think it will take you very far.
3:23 was pretty cool lol …watching the spit fly out from his mouth right onto your camera lenses
1:57 Couple of winners there 😐 3:40 Another geezer absolutely crushing it in life 🤣21:14 Totally BOSSING it
Started binge watching your channel mate 👍 have you ever filmed Northampton ?
Not yet bruv
@WendallExplores to be fair it's another town going down the shitter
@WendallExplores it's not half as rough as where you've been , but I can point you to some bad places.
Basicly all of the eastern district where the London overspill came to settle in the 70s and town centre
Remember the Velvet underpants? Great wolverhampton band from the 80s i love their song called Not me mate
I know charlie absolutely amazing singer and a genuine lovely guy
Nice lad
@@WendallExplores absolutely is
Ahhhh the Giffard. Many a fond memory made in that place
I love dudley I grew up just down the road from dudley a little place called West Bromwich my mom and dad used to take me and my brother to dudley it is such a nice place to go to I love watchering your videos they are brilliant from Marie 😁
There's no need to lie people will still help him.
Is that the Duncan Edwards statue in Dugley? I remember Sir Bobby Charlton coming to my school St Peters many years ago as he was visiting Dudley with something to do with Duncan.
When's your Liverpool videos coming out mate
