I don't think there is anyone out there talking about temptation on a secular level and providing manageable solutions. I appreciate this episode 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Greg and Marcus are doing a great job with this podcast, wish I could get my Hubby to listen. You don't see it that often on a religious or spiritual level either in my opinion....🙄😒
The best way to deal with temptation is to be honest with yourself. I've found with friends, family, and myself that most times we put ourselves into a position to be tempted because we've already been playing around with the idea in our mind. Example: You know you get loose when you drink but yet you still drinking out in public without anyone to keep you accountable. Example: You know this person has your number and can always get it but you purposefully go around them alone. We do it to ourselves!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for speaking on how easy it is to avoid problematic situations! A lot of men tend to make excuses instead of just making the changes needed to have a healthy relationship. I’ve never heard men admitting that social media is a temptation and blocking tempting content. Even the work husband/wives stuff…unacceptable. I’m so impressed by you both and your perspective and I’m praying that there are still some straight single men that feel this way because dating now is a MESS! 😩😂
I have a friend that does home inspections for buying/selling properties. He wears a body cam on the property he's inspecting. That's his way of protecting himself against all accusations.
It will be 17 years this September that my husband and I have been married, but together for 23 years. All of our friends are married and the single people we know are family members. You have to surround d yourself with like minded people and know yourself and not put yourself in situations that can be misconstrued or lead to something that it should not.
Great content! I just subscribed. We need more men who can kill temptation. I didn’t think it was possible with men. You’ve proved me wrong. Thank you for giving me hope.
Hey friend😂😂😂New subbie here! I'm a happily married mom of two and I can't wait to watch this show with my wonderful husband of 10 years. This is good stuff!

im really grateful my husband was raised by parents that instilled in him how serious it is to be in a relationship and treat women/ppl with respect. he has stopped being friends with some guys bc they cheated on their women and wouldnt admit it to them. my husbands whole family cut those guys off. my husband was disappointed and a bit sad about losing his friend but he couldnt look at him the same which i was amazed by. it wasnt until i met my husband that i knew some men actually heavily disagreed with having affairs and being unfaithful. i had some toxic men in my early 20s. i used to think all men were the same🫠so happy there are great men out here. its tough with the internet and being in relationships
This is a real conversation that should be heard! My husband works with a lot of women and they get reaaaaaal comfortable with him. Calling him hun and such. Had to have some real conversations about it.
Very honorable your mindsets.. it takes a high value man to have parameters and healthy boundaries. This doesn’t happen all the time. That’s what I’m receiving for my life.
The first solution to temptation is me all day! I call it “staying out the way”. I make sure I’m never even in the position where indiscretions or misconceptions could happen.

I want to take FULL advantage of the two of your skill sets. Can some of your content be about home repair? The easy stuff like flooring, changing lighting, wall paper, etc. Many of us are homeowners and need help with the small repairs. Maybe even the stuff we need to know ashen talking to contractors or going to retailers (Home Depot or Lowes).

Depends on who you're asking. Some PEOPLE really enjoy it (couples and all). Me personally, I never cared much for it, even when I was single. I never understood the idea of givin out money just to be teased. LoL
Thanks for discussing this topic. This is the first episode I watched fully through. I clicked on this fast because I Indeed wanted to know how men fight temptation that are attractive. (Respectfully saying this btw.) Cuz I know my future husband is going to be fine, fine too and I just had to hear that it is possible for fine saved men with self control can actually fight temptation while dating and married. So Thank yall for sharing your methods and advice. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I'm glad Marcus had a chance to hear the man out and didn't take it further but I have a hard time believing that man didn't see his big ole truck trying to park.
First of all, I am loving this Podcast. I have told all of my family, friends and co-workers to subscribe to Tanksley TV. Loving your introduction. I don’t particularly like the way Greg he introduces himself but I get it that’s his own thing. Don’t get me wrong, I like him and I think you both have great Podcast chemistry but that's just my observation. That said, I would like to “suggest” two things: 1. Possibly adding a segment titled: “Advice to my younger self." The segment can be right before you are about to close out the Podcast and both you and Greg can give advice to your younger selves. I think you both did it in this Podcast without even realizing it when you talked about not putting yourself is compromising situations. I think if that it done in an intentional format, it will have more of a lasting impact on your viewers. Next thing: 2. Will you consider closing out the Podcast with: “…and that concludes today’s episode of Let us tell it, I’m Marcus Tanksley [Greg adds] and I’m Greg Goosby. [Both of you together] Until next time, peace…” [Then both of you can or cannot throw up the peace sign as you’re saying the word “peace”. I’m not trying to produce or direct your show. I love you, Angel and the kids and I subscribe to all of your content. I just thought I would share my ideas. I know the closing will take some practice but I know you guys can do it.

Yeah, I'm a letter carrier ( maillady) and people answer door dressed wild😳 One man came to the apartment building front door wearing nothing but soap but I've also had women in towels and men in underwear 🙆🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🙄🙄
I never had a maintenance man that was fine. But I don’t trust them whether I’m in my place or not so I got a camera just to be safe. Now the cable/internet men. 😂
Lol … That’s so true … I’ve had maintenance show up unexpectedly and I’m in loungewear … I’d go on right about my business … I ain’t changing clothes … I’ll add a robe … But that’s about it …
Tank Said “ I hope you got something out of this”? Ahhhhh yeah I did, Thump Ya Thumpa, that’s my take away.😂 Nah for real though, thank y’all for sharing.
Living beyond reproach is the #1 way to avoid temptation. Do not even give the outside appearance of impropriety which could cause an issue for you and your relationship.
That story about the father with his whole family, is scary, him as a man should be aware of his surroundings. Be it the parking lot or where, how is he able to provide protection if he is at his capacity?
What l find so disrespectful is when my husband and myself is in the car my husband sees a woman with a big ass pass in front of are car, has we are waiting for the lights to change my husband watches this woman across the street and won’t take his eyes off her to me that is so disrespectful not only that my husband is on Facebook complimenting young girls telling them how beautiful how sexy they are but yet I’m dressed up and everybody else is telling me how nice I look but my husband never compliments me
Another great episode! 👏🏽 Everyone in a relationship needs to be aware of putting themselves in compromising situations or the appearance of a compromising situation. Also, Tank is me...my temper goes from 0 to "life in prison" real quick😂😂😂
My husband is in maintenance and I know that's what he deals with all the time. We worked at the same property so that's how we met😂. People are gross when it comes to property management.
