Looking at the review I'm going to say the pen isn't the issue, it's the reviewer holding the pen continually under an angle, which puts the pen into tilt mode. He's consistently drawing in tilt mode and that causes issues.
@@debenjklon9082 By holding the pen more upright, instead of under an angle. The angle actives the tilt function and you don't want that all the time. Lenovo pens are very good, but the s-pen is better. S-pen has Wacom EMR technique which doesn't need a battery to draw, like Wacom AES does. Wacom EMR is what Wacom uses in their own pens, it is a more accurate, but Lenovo is close. If you don't want to pay a lot of money, you can always try the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, it's pretty good, has the s-pen and isn't as expensive as the regular S9 edition.
This is an older video and I don't have the tablet but was interested in it. When you compare the drawing to the samsung tablet, you are using the pen at a different angle for both drawings. The whole time you were drawing with the lenovo, you had the pen angled way down and thats causing the issues with the lines. The samsung was at a much higher angle. Samsung is better for wobble but I don't think you used the stylus properly on the lenovo.
Hmm....seems like no matter how many Pen iterations they release, Lenovo isn't able to match the Wacom EMR technology. I wonder why don't they switch to EMR since its the clear winner in drawing performance!
Apart from this model coming with a pen, 6GB of RAM,128GB of space and a slightly bigger screen, is it really that much different to a much cheaper M10 HD Tab for normal usage ? Sorry for the question, but I think everyone around the world would like to know, whether the cheaper M10 can deliver the same results for alot less money... 😊
@@teohontech7141 it's also the quality of the screen. If you want a portable media consumption tablet and care about IQ you can't go far wrong with this.
I'm not an artist like you but I do not like draw anatomical models for my lab. Should I go with the Samsung still? I have a super note A5 that I like for note taking but it doesn't do color nor does it let me walk videos and take notes at the same time
t the moment I'm using the Lenovo P11 Plus still. It's starting to show it's age. Great for art, with the Lenovo Active Pen 3. I'm now looking at upgrading to the Lenovo P11 Pro gen2, but it has the precision pen 3. There aren't any reviews of that pen except for this one. At a first glance it looks like the pen performs terrible. Reading some of the comments gives a different impression though. Looking at the review again, I'm noticing one thing you do with this pen all the time, you're tilting it while drawing. That would put the pen in tilt mode continually and that's a lot less accurate. I'm now wondering if the bad pen performance isn't actually due to the pen, but because of the reviewer using it incorrectly all the time. As said, unfortunately this is the only review to go by, which puts me in a dilemma. I'm going to say the bad pen performance is user error, since I've seen other reviews from you in the past that were incorrect, making a product look bad due to user errors, while I actually had the same product and it performed flawlessly. It's the reason I unsubscribed back then. You still could be right, but reading some of the comments, I'm thinking the pen might be a lot better than the results you're getting.

By "perform flawlessly", you mean your pen does not have diagonal line wobble? If you think my review is biased, inauthentic, or has errors, you can and should post your own review. Maybe there really is some problem with my testing methodology, or something wrong with the specific tablet or pen I have here.
Do I have to apply a pressure when I write? Because this is how mine works. I have a tempered glass and a paper like film installed. The problem is that I dropped the pen with the tip down day one. Do I can't tell if it's normal or not.
I feel like its comparable to drawing on an ipad but user experience varies a lot based on your app of Choice and if you can customize around the issues inherent to the pen. I love mine for notes and reading manga but its definitely not perfect for drawing. Ita a good all rounder tho.
Do you see noticeable slowdown in PC when used as second monitor? I tried third party software to use ipad as second mon and find PC CPU usage rise to 40-50% even when the PC is idle. Wonder if project unity is more lightweight

Hi, I have this and I have one issue with it. Sometimes the orientation is stuck and only a restart fixes it. Other than that it's super fast, screen is excellent quality and it has smooth scrolling. Have you tried to root this tab? How can I check to see which ROM is on mine. Mine was bought in China.

Wished the P11 had a clearer screen, I might need to pony up more money for the P12. Just wished they had the 3.5mm jack built-in so I could use my USB C TV tuner at the same time.
They make those, they are called drawing tablet and cost upwards of 2k, most of them also require a PC to run, but i think wacom made a 17" stand alone windows Version, but it was almost 3k if i remember correctly.
I wish AES 2.0 would just go away and all manufacturers would adopt EMR... it's just better. This tablet looked great until you see the pen performance. Samsung still stands unmatched in the android world because the S Pen uses EMR, it's just superior to AES 2.0.
@@miumikuhatsukoi5300 No, not at all... you misread my comment. This tablet uses the AES2.0 pen technology which is inferior to the EMR pen technology that Samsung uses.
The P12 Pro doesn't use AES 2.0. It uses proprietary LPP 2.0 (Lenovo Pen Protocol), they have also released a software update that has fixed the stray dots and soooome wobble. It's less aggressive now and much more suitable for drawing now, even if it's not fantastic.
@@mrmacman2u I may be mistaken, but I don't think that is correct... the P12 Pro uses the Precision Pen 3 which is AES 2.0... it's the regular non-pro P12 that uses the "Lenovo Tab Pen Plus" which is LPP 2.0... not that it matters since both have bad line wobble and lots of latency.
@YxnEugh they didn't fix it. I don't think it would effect me it really only happens when you hold the pen to the side. I ended up getting a e ink tab.

Yeah, drawing performance seems worse compared to the earlier generation.

The Tab 12 Pro is noticeably better many ways than the Lenovo M10 HD, and it's not just because of the larger screen.

Cutted facets 5:40 bothered me on Tab S7 Pro. iPads rounded feels much better then you hold it in hands.
