    @David Gillebeau, do you offer discounts on multiple orders? Say if club members wanted to go in on an order, all identical?

    WOW! Now that was very impressive and simple! Nice review David. I"m still using an ancient Tree Lounger when I climb, a Georgia invention by Bob & Margaret many years ago. I've also switched to a Summit, but with rapidly advancing age, I"ve moved more often to a ground blind. I have to get one of these it's a perfect "run & gun" option for changing stand positions quickly. Where in Georgia do you live and hunt? I'm thinking this would be good for my 4th Arrow Camera Arm set up for my channel. Thanks for sharing!

    U could have easily did this with stuff around u and a camo burlap sheet. Way to much stuff to Carry 3 or 4 miles through the woods for me. I would make way to much noise carrying that big old thing too.

    Ok I guess. Believe I'll just find brush pile. Or hang a stand... On top of that ridge, I'd definitely be up that tree! But if you can't use a stand it might do.

    I went to the Hillside Ground Blind web site. The blind alone was listed at $135 - $240. Two seats available. One was no back and $55. With a back was $95. Sorry, but that's a little too steep for me considering what you get. I can string a rope with camouflage tarp/netting between 4 trees and put in a cheap swivel seat for much less.

      I get it, I am in the same boat (disabled vet) but isn’t it good that he is trying to spur the economy a little in his limited way instead of relying on the taxpayer like a lot of us. Just sayin.

    Just more shit to carry in woods…. Stool and leafy top …done!

    • @lovejoy1230
      @lovejoy1230 2 года назад

      also doesn't look like a box stuck to the side of a tree. No need for a blind, just sit still, much more effective. I personally don't even use a stool, I just find a good tree to lean against and stand still. I hate carrying crap into the woods, sometimes people make things more difficult than they need to be.

  • @digitaltrip420
    @digitaltrip420 3 года назад +1

    So much to carry and do to just sit by a tree. lol Just soso much. lol

    • @sbl9467
      @sbl9467 3 года назад

      I agree. Ditch that entire blind setup and just pick a better tree that'll better conceal yourself. Way easier

    • @garrettromer8499
      @garrettromer8499 3 года назад +1

      Right just carry a combat shovel with me and I dig a hole next to a tree wider than my shoulders to rest my legs in like a seat. Might drag over a couple of logs to lay in front of me for a little more concealment. It's best to have a combat shovel though because mine has a blade on one side and a saw on the other for cutting through roots. Shot the biggest doe of my life already this year with this set up. She walked out less than 15 yards from me and had no idea I was there.
