- Olivia Culpo found herself in dire straits after her split from Nick Jonas.
In her family’s new reality show, the former Miss Universe candidly opened up about struggling personally and financially in 2015 after moving to Los Angeles during her relationship with the Jonas Brothers singer.
“I had no brand, no money, and I was in love,” Culpo, 30, said in the premiere episode of TLC’s “The Culpo Sisters” on Monday.
“But when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity,” she recalled. “My whole identity was in him, which is a very common story of a young person in love.”

How did she just have no money though
living beyond her means
So basically at 23, she was totally dependent on Nick for her rent, groceries not to mention vacation and stuffs. I believe one becomes independent after 18 from their family. So the break up was so expected.
She should try to become a success independently rather than hitching herself to a man. Sad really.

She’s so pretty to me like his wife is pretty too but him and her look more fit for each other they looked like they went together his wife now looks so much older than him in my opinion but it’s not always about looks he seems happy with her so that’s all that matters
And to think all the designer clothes and expensive jewelry was from Nick Jonas credit card. Well I don't blame him for breaking up with her.

She left everything she had in order to build a life with him. She was starting over. Hence when he just up and left her, she had nothing. She was young, in love and building her brand. Him leaving was a blessing because she did it on her own and is now, very successful.

Am I to understand that she expected Nick to do every thing for her? I thought she is suppose to be intelligent to know what it is to be independent.
That was her choice if she wanted to work she could if she didn’t she didn’t have to he obviously took well care of her because he was in love with her .
