It worked for me, I cut the cables and joined them. Now it doesn't give the ice full error and I can use it non-stop, you just have to be more attentive to when the head is full. I'm going to keep trying.
This quick fix did not work for my Snomaster ice machine.... With the ICE light on when bridging the thermoswitch, it also preverted the compressor from switching on.... I ended up soldering a small 6.3 ohm resistor into the line of the thermoswitch and relocated the metal part of the thermoswitch from inside the ice tray to a warmer position close to the radiator and fan assembly. The water level is picked up by another sensor at the bottom water tray inside the machine. Now I only put in enough water for the amount of ice I need and the machine will switch off when the ICE FULL light comes on...
Confusing explanation. Who gives a care about a pump that is working correctly. It should have been; "Suspected and Tested pump and it was working fine." That's it, No distracting off subject dialogue was needed. .......... Why cut the sensor wire when a jumper on the circuit board would have got it going?

My just keeps running and making ice and will not stop.
I have done nothing to it .. just turned it on.
