Hope you are feeling better, Sean. As no new video yesterday I decided to watch this one instead. 8 months on since you recorded this video, you have come a long way! I feel the reason your channel is growing so much is because you are honest with us and allow us to follow your ups and downs without all the 'should dos' and advice from others. I search for your videos whether they pop up or not. I'm not so keen on misleading titles many youtubers use, but yours make sense. It's helpful having the date on them too. As much as I enjoy all your day to day life videos, I do find myself remembering your tour of the castle. You were so natural walking around and knowing when to chat and when to take in the scenery. Hoping you might be able to do more sightseeing ones like that. On days when just getting jobs done at home myself, it would be lovely to occasionally follow you on a tour around somewhere, while I sit down with my cup of tea. I told you how I found your delightful channel. I don’t think it was algorithm based, but search result based, originally - before 2024. Whatever it is, I am glad that your vlogs are doing well, and hopefully providing you a decent income.

Often people who had been made redundant from previous jobs in the same industry. They typically mined current employees for info, called us dinosaurs 🦕 who should be sacked, made a nice PowerPoint presentation for the directors and left! Sean, I don't think of your channel as mainly a gardening channel. It is more about your life. The life of a talented, cheerful and ordinary man living alone with his cats. Also now about life in Wales. I totally get that you have to make a good living from your videos as they will be time consuming to make. What are his statistics? I'd get some references if I were you! I hope he doesn't suggest: - Putting on more 'cliff hanging' captions :( - Advertising - at least things that jarr with the content eg. Artificial grass! Ultra Processed foods! - Music in the background when you are speaking (my personal bugbear!) - Pimp it up! I mean over-flashy production techniques! :o - Promise the impossible. As you said: eg. "Growing this plant changed my life" - Hmm, his advice to that other YTer to effectively deceive his old watchers? That's very dodgy and disrespectful I think. (I wonder if he advised RickvanMan who seems to have disappeared? Maybe not as Rick seemed to be at a crossroads anyway.) - Although everyone knows you do this to make a living, there also has to be some integrity. I think that's exactly why people watch you. Plus, I have to admit, talk of consultants is a bit of a trigger for me! I'm very glad to hear Rick is doing well. I really miss his musings. I remember enjoying watching him cleaning his cooker! 🤔😂I knew he was takling a bit of a break, but was unaware he is doing a meditation project. I will check more carefully next time. 😬😊
