I live in Indonesia, i eat rice everyday, and so many rice flour in here. But i just know that we can make pancake from rice flour. Thankyou so much for this great recipe
I don't have sweet potatoes but I have some pumpkin. I'm going to make this with pumpkin! Minus some sugar on the flour. I think it's going to be delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
I tried this using pumpkin. It's harder to wrap because it has lesser fiber but it turned out great. I even added some shredded coconut into my fillings. I also use sweetener (lesser amount too) instead of sugar to lessen the sugar & carbs in this recipe. Thanks for the recipe.
@@christinespov I did but I don't think it help may be too much water while steaming. May be I need to cover the plate with plastic wrapper before steaming. Although it's hard to wrap and some fillings got out but I placed the dough on the sesame and fry then all is well. Taste as good. I wonder if I use hot water instead of room temp water into the dough would the texture be different?
Oh maybe pumkin is more watery than sweet potato. Hot water would do too. Just add it little by little until the glutinous rice flour is flaky. Too much hot water makes the dough so sticky.

You could use cornstarch to make the pumkin a bit firm 😊

Yes, you can. Just make sure to separate them with plastic wrap or parchment paper then put it in the fridge.
