"The Nazguls are a sausage fest. Let me get some girls" -Sauron
Yeah, honestly that was the part I hated about the games, how they messed with the lore of the Nazgul and made it essentially a job different people rotated through.
They are pretty much static from creation to the destruction of the ring. Even the Witchking probably would have reformed if the One ring hadn't been destroyed soon after he was defeated.
Eltariel is one of the main villains in this game IMO. Fell to a power of the ring before talion ever did.
Yup heavily disliked how they still gave her such a "badass" role in the dlc we should've been allowed to kill her as talion she was the villain and way too cocky
Bruh I was soooo mad at her when she just stood there while she got the ring

The two gals: assassinate emperor chosen by heavens mandate
The army chilling right in front of them: "I see nothing wrong here"
100k army :hmmm must have been the Wind 🤔
Well first, this is a fictional story compared to the actual mandate of heaven
Second, even if you were actually comparing it to the real concept. The mandate of heaven was essentially a cycle. It did permit rebellions, because it was a sign that the current dynasty was corrupt. It was only the successful overthrows that were glorified. The Yellow Turban Rebellion, for example, wouldn't be so vilified at first glance if it was successful. Besides, if that emperor was already considered corrupt in other ways, that could have given his daughters more legitimacy.
🤓🤓🤓
Don't forget they just destroyed TWO Nazgul because Asian chick plot armour.
A very dumb bit of the story.
That's only slightly dumber then them defeating the Nazgul to take the rings in the First place. That being said, you could probably chalk it up to the Rings Influencing the minds of the people watching..maybe..best justification I can think of. Or maybe the Emperor was a dick and nobody felt like avenging him
They always say men are weak to the power of the ring, but Talion Spent countless years with one on his finger and still managed to retain some form of control over it for all this time. respect to our man Talion. Meanwhile Eltariel when Celebrimbor tempts her...
Well, celebrimbor wasnt the only one tempting her. Galadriel in the back of her head is reinforcing celebrimbors will
@@johnsalamon4850 meanwhile talion with sauron and the witch king in his head...., but you're right.
As a retcon, sure. Tallon resisted the ring...
@@chatongarou7665 The ring Eltariel took from Talion was not Saurons ring. It was the new forged ring of celebrimbor without the corruption. I would say that it was Eltariel choice to join with Celebrimbor "to subjugate and end sauron" with Galadriels blessing to set Celebrimbor's plan to motion vs Talion who was fighting the dark lord's influence for years.
They mean humans when they talk about “men” bruh.

If i were made the game, then here are the changes i would have done.
1. Talion could use the Palantir during act3 in Minas Morgul. Sacrifice 1 skill point to automatically reveal all information about any captain he meets for the next 20 times. Regardless of the concept. After all it was supposed to be used for gathering information. This way we couldn't know for sure when Eltariel meets Dark Ranger Talion for the first time in the DLC. Maybe hours, maybe days.
2. Talion would demand the new ring so he can remain longer, and distract Sauron. Believing, that the new ring can keep him alive without falling under Sauron's control. Eltariel would keep refusing it. In the end we wouldn't fight Nazgul Talion. Instead we would fight a pissed off one. The final battle would be insanely difficult, and the end is same regardless of whether you win or lose. Talion almost kills Eltariel, but the simping Orc saves her, and give a minor distraction. Then Eltariel would flee Mordor. The final ending which we saw originally would happen decades after this.
3. In the true ending Talion's family would be seen in the distance. Waiting for the long overdue reunion.
Also it sounded to me, that in his final moment that Nazgul at the beginning was free. I know this is fanfiction, but logically it would make sense, that Sauron wants more to fall under his influence, and "recycle" the rings. He gave the freedom of death to those Nazguls so these woman can take their rings. In their final moments the Nazguls attempted to warn them. They knew, that if they aren't killed Sauron will reclaim them. So with their free will they were ready to fall. But made one attempt to prevent the falling of others.
I legit was expecting Chow Yun Fatt to say Welcome to Singapore!
Not canonical but very cool. If RoP went in this direction I'd be a lot happier
In middle earth, there's so many unexplored places. Hopefully they make shows about the east and south.

This one pissed me off so much.
Talion just gets turned evil and of course is taken out by the "strong waman" character who is treated like a hero but is literally one of the villains.
And of course he has to die so they take any choice out of our hands by killing him in a cut scene. They build the game series on the back of the male character then at the last moment pull the rug out and give the trophy to the side character no one cares about.
@Radical Centrist God Orcs need killing bruh
Agreed
If the elf lady was a dude, I bet u wouldn’t be making this criticism. She absolutely isn’t treated like a hero lmfao. Half of this vid is literally Talion calling her out.
@Radical Centrist God I understand she’s not a dude. I was posing a hypothetical.
The elf lady is obviously supposed to be a morally grey character. That is made abundantly clear by her interactions with Talion. She is not some one-note “strong female.”

So we're all okay with the fact that the main character from multiple games just utterly weny evil and then got killed off? ....ok
The Rings dominate men. Talion was just a man. He tried.
The instant Talion put one of the rings used by the Nazgul, he was doomed. And even if he wasn't, he would have still died at some point before the events of "Fellowship of the Ring".
Made it more interesting just didn't like the fact she was able to defeat him and that we didn't kill her, I don't know if you remember but talion was already dead like what? He was dead either way

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
I think they should have celebrimbor return to talion, and be like"we got work to do bruh", then talon is still understandably pissed, then the antagonist is celebrimbor, and talon separates from him but stays alive somehow, with eltarials ring I'd think, maybe she gives it to him knowing hes the only one who can defeat celebrimbor, and then he defeats him and finally goes back to schleep

The sisters belonged to the Shen people. Free men, and The Kingdom of Shen was a nation located in the far east of Middle-earth.
Native to the steppes of Amrûn and the dunes of the Last Desert, Shen began as a relatively small tribal land with a rich history shared between the Edain and the last full-blooded Avars. Its borders have fluctuated dramatically since it was founded due to the many wars it has fought, making it one of the most battle-tested nations of the Eastlands.
In the chaos of the late Second Age after the fall of Nûmenor, the Shen leader called Sagong finally managed to unite the nomadic tribes between the Last Desert and the Orocarni Mountains. As emperor, he and his sons undertook a series of military campaigns-renowned for their brutality and ferocity-spanning much of the East and forming the Kingdom of Shen, briefly the largest contiguous land empire in Arda's history. . His would have remained a nomadic empire, with immense mobile castles trained by great beasts and an army following him.
The Empire that Sagong had built from the ground up would eventually see its end at the hands of his own daughters, Riya and Yuka, who returned home from a campaign to conquer Mordor corrupted by the Rings of Men they had acquired. The princesses killed Emperor Sagong and took control of his throne as co-rulers, the wickedness of the act causing many of the Empire's tribes to revolt, resulting in an all-out civil war. Eventually the Empire collapsed and the Sisters fled what remained of the Kingdom of Shen to join Sauron in Mordor. The government of the Kingdom fell into the hands of the general of Sagong.
Many of the nomadic tribes of the former Empire, thanks to the Blue Wizards, would eventually reunite in the Third Age to form a confederation, whose sole objective was to fight the invading forces from Harad, Rhûn, Khand, and Umbar, under the direction of Mordor and Sauron.
They eventually rose from the dust after the ascension of ARAGORN to the throne of Gondor and Arnor, and with the realm united they maintained peaceful, if detached, relations, like the inhabitants of Rhûn who embraced the cause of Bor the Faithful and the Southern Haradrim tribes , who repudiated serving Morgoth and his servant Sauron, and for this reason persecuted and enslaved by their own kingdoms but then freed by Elessar himself.

Twin sisters nazguls, really.
Yeah, and they kick the ass of Nazgul just because of Asian girl plot armour, naturally.
Also, the Nazgul didn't wear their rings, Sauron kept them after they turned into shadow. Thats how he still controlled them even without the One.

Is the Japanese feudalism cannon written by Tolkien or was it added by the game studio. Nonetheless it was quite stupid!
It’s written by Tolkien. This is the land of Rhun, which is mentioned in his work and is the location of the Easterling human tribes who side with Sauron during the war of the ring, along with the Haradrim and Southrons. Rhun is implied to be similar to ancient China though, not Japan, similar to how the Haradrim in Tolkien’s books seem to be loosely based on middle eastern people.

And people claim this is more faithful than Rings of Power
I don't know if it's more faithful or not but I would say more creative...
@@alintemirtzi170 Yes I second that. Amazon only bought the rights to the The Fellowship, The Two Towers, The Return of the King, The Hobbit and The Appendices (Which are more or less foot notes)
No one is claiming such a thing. However, the difference between these games and Amazon is that these games have never claimed to be canonical or accurate towards Tolkiens works, while Amazon did, lying and corrupting Tolkiens works. Thats why these games are loved and Rings of Power are hated (and for other things too).
@@mjlauziere Oh trust me, people are saying that. I like this much more than Rings of Power for the reasons you mentioned (and Talion), but if you go to comment sections in some gameplay videos, you’ll see people calling this more faithful to the lore than ROP. I don’t care how much you hate the show, at least it doesn’t have Isildur become a Nazgul, or have these 2 somehow take the ring from a Nazgul and kill him (The nazgul are immortal while Sauron lives as they are bound to him). That’s just the tip of the iceberg.
@@GauthamSwaminathan again, people opinions regarding this games are the smallest of the issues. The thing is, that since these games were released, the people in charge NEVER claimed to be faithful or whatever towards Tolkien, and people understood that. Now, since the series of Amazon came up, people are so mad about it not only because of the disgrace it is, but for the comments of the people in charge claiming they are loyal to Tolkien and stuff when they r not, and that is what makes us angry and mad. U can enjoy so much these games because apart of not being canonical, theyre great games, and in some way, they respect Tolkiens world, and u feel youre on Middle Earth while with the rings of power shit, you dont see and feel that. So again, dont compare these games with that shit of Amazon.
