WHAT IS THE PUPPET?!
The Puppet (also known as The Marionette) is one of the main character’s in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. It’s an animatronic puppet that sits in a music box that you have to keep winding up. If you let the music run out, it attacks!
To bring the puppet from FNAF to life, we sculpted its body out of foam and 3D printed its mask. The mask was then textured and painted while the body was covered in a scratchy black velvet. To achieve its classic jumpscare, we built a pneumatic scissor mech that quickly pushes it 3 feet forwards and we hid a secret pneumatic in its chest to make its arms reach forward as it jumps.
This was a really fun DIY FNAF animatronic to make and the best part was we got to test it out and scare a TON of kids with it! We love making scary halloween animatronics, so let us know who you want to see next!

19:05 actually the puppet DOES have glowing eyes in the game, just not at all times. If you look up fnaf 2 puppet cutscene you can clearly see white dots in the mask. Just wanted to flex my fnaf knowledge 💪

Well as the name says, “nightmare fredbear” is a nightmare. So it’s a figment of imagination.
And once again, nightmare Foxy, IS A NIGHTMARE.
Plus fnaf 4 is canonically before ANY of the other games, so even though foxy was phantom foxy in fnaf 3, that was canonically AFTER fnaf 4.

For anyone confused in fnaf lore the animatronic puppet is male but the soul of the little girl Charlie is inside of it

Edit but Henry Charlottes dad also made multiple Charlie animatronics in different ages when his daughter got killed it’s really complicated just read the silver eyes the twisted ones and the fourth closet if u want a shorter version read the graphic novels

That's a great Idea! Mangle has an incredibly spooky character design, I would love to see her brought to life like that! (and not just because she's my favorite, although she certainly is) It sounds like she'd be a great challenge for the Wicked team, I really wonder how they'd tackle it! :)

@@dalesanduk6246 Technically the marionette itself is referred to as they/them and it/its but the spirit inhabiting the puppet (and Lefty) has been shown to be feminine if not female.
I’m pretty sure the animatronic has no gender but the person controlling the marionette is a female sooo it’s whatever you prefer I guess

It's not life-sized, but there's a plushie line by Dawko that has a pretty good Puppet, with poseable arms and legs, and it's proportions are very accurate to the game! =)
They're often referred to as "the Hex plushies" or "Parts and Service". They're bigger than the Funko plushies, I think, especially the Puppet one.
I can only imagine how awesome a haunted house created by you guys would be.

According to the games, the Marionette appears to to be held up by cables on the ceiling like its namesake. I'd assume it detatches due to paranormal ghost activity rather than actual mechanisms but for an animatronic it might good to use that method for a more accurate jumpscare.
