Hello I’ll be in PVR for 8 nights this December. Is it easy to get around solo around the areas you mentioned in the video? Also was it easy to bring in a drone into PVR airport I have mavic air 2 and probably bringing in my carry-on along with a gopro hero 9. I want to record from the top of the lighthouse and then just walk around the Mercado for souvenirs and along the coast.
Hi Eileen! 🌞 Great tour! I would love for the Art and Water and Food 😄. Love the idea behind the Heart! I have to believe you were born with a Smile on your face and Laughter in your heart. The perfect baby from day one! 🤗♥️ Thanks for the tour!
aww thank you, Gina! That's so sweet of you! I agree - walking around Puerto Vallarta and just looking at all the art and the beautiful views of the water is amazing. Plus a nice cold tuba to drink! :)
I just visit Puerto Vallarta in December and I loved it. I didn't know that the state of Jalisco was so pretty. We also stay at Costa Careyes, a beautiful place.
Great video!! I just want to make one clarification. The Tuba drink is actually a typical drink from Jalisco’s neighboring state called Colima. Its origins are from the Philippines because during the Spanish colonial period, many things were transported from the Philippines to México at the port of Manzanillo in the state of Colima. I’m glad you were able to drink it! Not many people ever pay attention to that drink.
There is no better place in the world than Puerto Vallarta! The Art Walk is always fun. Plus, the galleries have free wine! Another favorite is the dance performances on Friday night's in Parque Lazaro Cardenas. Love love love Isla Rio Cuale.
I love your passion for PV! Sounds like you've had a lot of wonderful experiences there! I didn't know about the Friday dances so thanks for the suggestion :)
Spent some time in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. And yes it’s winter time back home. This place is awesome and the weather is outstanding 83° every day and sunny. Sunsets are amazing and the people are very nice and the food is outstanding. We stayed at the fiesta americana and the beach was outstanding. I’ve ventured down to the Boardwalk and old town . I actually felt safer in Puerto Vallarta than I did in some cities in America. Thank you for posting this video and I am new to your channel.
We loved the little island too. We stayed at La Hacienda San Angel so we'd walk down to the island every day to get everywhere. We are dying to get back! Thanks for such a great video.
Hi there.. you are so great.. I really enjoyed and love your "risita" ( little laugh ??? O don't know how to say risita) when you stopped talking. Best regards :)
Thank you! :) That's great you're planning a trip to PV. If you haven't seen our other videos from there they're here with more ideas of what to do: bit.ly/puertovallartaplaylist Have fun!
Yes, I knew you'd like seeing that, Scott! I'm so glad they didn't demolish the lighthouse when it wasn't in use anymore. A great example of repurposing a historic sight like that. Glad you enjoyed the PV tour! :)
I love that you've covered so many things to do that are free or almost free. Great tips for everyone. And now, to answer your question: the beach front is so beautiful, but I think the most favourite thing for me would be a toss-up between the art walk and the chocolate class! Art and food - two of my most favourite things! Great video, guys!
haha I couldn't agree more! Maybe the art walk with a homemade hot chocolate in hand? ;) After you finish your tuba drink, of course... Thank you for all your support of our videos! We love having you along on the adventure!
Yes, lots to do next time! :) We made other videos there if you'd like to check them out (here: bit.ly/puertovallartaplaylist) and made more recommendations over on my Instagram highlights (@eileenaldis), including some really delicious ceviche if you're into that (like we are).
Hi beautiful Eileen and you’re best friend you’ve video was amazing and places to see chocolate 🍫 museum, beautiful day in the life of Puerto Vallarta my sweets 🍭 is wanting to visit and take me with her. Thank you 😊 so much you people ❤️❤️👍👍🌹🌹
Hi Jemma! Thanks so much, I'm happy to hear that :) That's wonderful you're in Puerto Vallarta right now! I hope you enjoy the Choco Museo. We bought some of the 'chocolate coffee' by the way and quite enjoyed it ☕️
So many wonderful things to do....I'm really impressed and hope to visit myself some day. I just love chocolate so the museum and cooking class has to a favourite. Mind you have loved all your Mexico videos. Thanks for taking us along.
You'd love the chocolate workshop! It was really fun to try and inspired me to maybe try making it at home and use different spices and things. We bought some of the chocolate coffee to take as well and it was mucho delicious ;)
Awesome video. Looks like Puerto Vallarta has grown significantly since I was there. It is one of my most favourite cities in Mexico. So cool you got to make chocolate and eat it too. It's not a Tuba.
haha yes, I'm sure it's changed quite a bit! Would be fun for you to go back and see it again since it's one of your favourites :) The chocolate workshop was really fun, especially all the taste testing 😋
Fantastic! Hope you have an amazing trip! We made other videos in PV if you'd like to see more before you go: bit.ly/puertovallartaplaylist and there's a cute beach town not too far away called Sayulita if you fancy a little side trip: bit.ly/sayulitaplaylist :)
Oh my, I'm loving Puerto Vallarta, and this version you guys put together is the BEST EVER we've seen of the city. We've hoping to live there for a short time. Hope you do a cost of living episode. Have to say, you really captured the beauty and fun :) Your voice overs are always so natural and inspire us when we do our YT episides. Blessings, James and Kim Treasure Hunt Foodies
Thank you for the bit of insight into PV! You showed us some really lovely and interesting parts of the city I had not yet seen. This video has actually inspired me to consider PV when retiring, as I lived for many years in the beach cities of LA, and I really do appreciate the beauty of being near the ocean while also having the beauty of the mountains nearby. There is nothing quite like it. Whoever took those drone shots of the Malecon...W O W...impressive views. I'll be watching more of your video, for certain. On a completely unrelated and somewhat awkward note, you have some of the most beautiful teeth I've ever seen. lol I know, weird, right? No, I'm not a dentist either, I just couldn't help but notice they are the perfect size and shape. Your skin is darn near flawless, too, but those teeth are the superstars. lol If this comment seems strange, please just know that it is one of the strangest comments I've ever left a RUclipsr. I promise I'm not some creepy guy, just another female world traveler who really appreciates an interesting, informative, well-edited and voiced travel video. Thank you! Viajes seguros!
Hello! Thanks so much for your lovely compliments! :) I'm delighted you enjoyed the video and it's inspired you to consider PV. We met lots of people from the US and Canada who winter there and love it. I envy you living many years in the beach cities of LA...so beautiful! Thanks again for watching and safe travels to you too!

I am staying at an airbnb and would live recommendations for the best places to lay out under an umbrella that's not too pricey..thanks! Awesome video!

There are buses and a subway system, however, because our time was limited to 72 visa free hours we took a Yandex taxi pretty much everywhere. It's basically Russian Uber and the prices are very reasonable. We also walked but the scale is enormous so walking somewhere can take a long time.
