i loved the old style chevys from 1977-1989, it was maddening that gm wouldn't put an airbag on the 1990, the caprice was a big seller, and they chucked it for a beached whale on 4 wheels

Why doesn't anyone shoot WD-40 on the trunk springs? It has always worked for me. In fact my old 85 Cavalier had a very sweet operating trunk, even better than my 2014 Cruze.
