We purposefully used the term “step”. The main motive behind using this tag is to show step parents are real parents too . Step relationship can be as pure and as genuine as any biological relationship. We used the term so people can see such relationship in good light and see such beautiful relationship do exist and all the negativity attached to the word step is somewhat removed. It’s a relationship like any other relationship and no one should be offended with the tag. But for us specially Indians the word step is associated with negative feelings it’s not the case here. Here people proudly say or introduce themselves as the step parent 1. Coz out of respect to the biological parent, they don’t want to take away the position of the biological parents. 2. They are proud to be a bonus parent as being a step parent can sometimes be harder than being biological parent it’s more selfless role than a biological parent so it’s something to be proud of not a demeaning tag. When we post videos both me and Richard discuss our posts and purposes so he isn’t at all offended but we appreciate your concerns and the love you all showed ❤️❤️
Thanks Rumela! Sotti your post has a deeper meaning. I for one was thinking like a typical Indian. Really Richard and his family are wonderful n you too along with your kids compliment them. It’s always both ways. Bhalo theko 💕🤗
