In Season 11 I didn't really care who would won because I was not rooting for anyone. In Season 12 I won't care who will win because they are all great and I love them all.

The treatment of Crystal is so bizarre. Like sometimes she was getting favouritism and favourable edits. Other times, she actually did really well but was denied a win. I’m really not sure what the editors were REALLY going for in it? Like were they playing for a Miss Fan Favourite edit?
Crystal Method may be the surprise winner of the season. She's secretly Ru's favorite. If not the winner, at least tied with Heidi for Miss Congeniality.

Okay but this was probably the best Makeover challenge in the history of the show. No one was atrociously bad. Even Heidi looked pretty good in comparison to the previous runways

Yes! Her look showed a different side of drag and did so expertly and I like that. Drag has many faces and I'm glad to see Crystal pushing the boundaries of what we can expect to see from this show.
I wouldn’t mind Crystal winning it but I really hate the word robbed.. it insinuates that Jaida didn’t deserve it. Also Jaida made their outfits from scratch and perfectly tailored them to their bodies

it almost makes up for how half-assed fasion photo ruview has been this season. His commentary has been really insightful and attentive, you can tell he's really paying attention and really invested in the actual show.
I tried to watch some old seasons of this without bob and wow, some of them are hard to get through. I think Bob should be the permanent host! Always funny always engaged and always honest.

Gigi's choice was smart, but lazy af. Where are the make up challenges where the queens have to make the outfit and not simply bring it back home (like in season 8)?

The point isn't to pick on Gigi but to point out that if they were to sew their outfits ON the show, it would work in favour of people like Heidi whose partner was plus-size but she didn't know beforehand, so she had to BORROW a whole new outfit. Putting her in the bottom. If ALL of them were to sew, this wouldn't be a handicap. Kinda gross that the show always pushes plus-size or even different racial background makeover people as a hinderance on the girls
Archer but the briefs were given to every gurl. I love Heidi but she should be expecting a sz 6-30 to be swinging through that door. I also don’t think it’s lazy. Remember they can hire people to sew those dresses back home. I doubt many queens do their own looks unless they’re proficient at garment construction. Big girls and non white gurls shouldn’t be viewed as hinderance. Look at Jaida, she picked a gurl who has different complexion to herself and she still rocked it. Aside from the outfit not bearing any family resemblance, Heidi also committed the ultimate sin in family resemblance challenge; she had the better outfit on. If she dumbed down her look, she would have still ended on the bottom but at least it would have been similar.
I wanted Crystal to win this challenge but I'm not gonna lie, Jaida winning her 3rd win really makes sense with my fantasy. All the Gigi stans are shaking!
Can Bob host every season of the Pit Stop? It feels like the hosts from past seasons are given parameters by the producers and rarely share what they truly think. Bob just calls it like he sees it and I love it!!
The people who were "successful" brought their outfits already completely made and that fit their makeover partner. The only thing a couple needed to do was some tailoring. Heidi ended up borrowing an outfit to fit her partner. NOBODY was sewing an outfit on the fly.
Yes, Jaida made her outfits BEFORE she got there. Everyone on stage in matching outfits had them done before they arrived. Heidi shared the outfits she brought for the challenge, but didn't use because it wouldn't fit her partner. My point was the other contestants lucked out and were able to use the outfits they brought with them. That's luck, not a huge accomplishment. People are talking like everyone but Heidi met their makeover partner and made them an outfit to match them right there and then. It's like all the praise on these "polished" queens when what they are is rich enough to buy custom made outfits and wigs made by other people.
The judging is so uneven, you literally can't judge contestants the same if they aren't starting on an even playing field. Wish they would have made it fair and given them time and made the girls sew.

NGL the edit Jadia was getting up till the runway was killing me. I totally thought she was going to be in the bottom, when Jaida and her Superfan stared crying I was so sure I was going to get gooped! But praise jeezus queen not only pulling it out but also stunted on every makeover challenge in the process
Once again I have to say it's so nice that Bob is not up production's ass all the time in these videos. I feel like in past Pit Stop installments, the queens didn't really speak their minds much so they wouldn't piss of World of Wonder/Ru/whoever pulls the strings. But Bob's just saying what's on her mind and I love it.
This episode was WHOLESOME. My favorite yet. Gigi and her partner are probably bffs to this day and had PERFECT chemistry. Janet the Planet ATE it up despite her partner. Jaida finally had her moment of true emotion and she and her partner really connected, their on runway skit was super fitting to how she really had really get her partner confident. Also, crystal and her partner were SOUL SISTERS and the partner killed the lipsync. This was my fave yet easily.
Sick of Gigi getting the most bizarre saves in her story, Chrystal did a full club kid burt and ernie cosplay. Jaida padded painted and made whole looks Gigi gave a pretty girl a pretty beat, with a one piece outfit with no padding, seriously shes safe?! Even Allison Mossey made a dramatic change and resemblance with pre made looks ... While Jackie's was simply she added padding to her girl and made the look It really needed to be Gigi and Heidi
How in the hell ( I MEAN HOW) does Juju look brighter, younger, fresher than she did a decade ago when she was first on Drag Race...….bottle that secret and make yourself rich girl!
I love how candid this episode is. I miss how candid the contestants used to be. Less of the "production edit" vanilla stories and "easy-to-digest" characters.
Heidi was sadly the worst, and between Gigi and Jackie, I do think Gigi had a look that was a bit more polished and told a better story. I agree it was kinda boring, but that's why she didn't win, even though the makeover challenge should have been in her wheelhouse.

crystal is one of the most diverse queens we have ever seen on the show. although she has not won a challenge (yet) i would not mind her winning this season. i know she would have to snag a win or two before the season ends and then slay the finale round(s).
No hate towards Gigi, but I would love for Crystal to win because throughout the entire series, there have been two "underdogs" who have won (season 5 and 9)while the rest wasn't a surprise at all. I don't know i just feel that it would be nice for Crystal to win and it seems that rupaul likes her. But I wouldn't be upset if Jaida wins the whole thing too.
the way crystal took their (imo kinda lame) critique of her makeup being too much and has showed us SO much versatility since then is amazing to see. even if she doesn't win i think she proved how fierce of a queen she is

I'm finding Gigi very boring now. Nothing wows me with her looks. Yes they are great, they are perfect (for her) and her makeup is snatched and she never has a hair out of place, but she's just dull and has been allowed a huge amount of leeway with her looks. This weeks was, boring, shapeless, and totally unimaginative.

@Rachael Albertson-Kill Jaida won because she has the hardest tasks. 1 she assigned everybody fair partners and didnt play any mental games, 2 bet is white and jaida is black and she made them look alike, 3 bet was the worst at walking in heels and had the least rhytm and 4 she made all the clothes and jewerly by herself. So Jaida won fair, Crystal was good but really did nothing out of her box or hard.
Riley Curry mama have you ever tried that? I love crystal but her makeup is rough. it’s MUCH HARDER to paint pretty especially when you’re painting someone else. jaida was polished from head to toe and she deserved this win 100%.

Crystal has been like a consistent second or third so often. Could she win the final even though never having won. Jada and Gigi are consistently great though too.

Totally different, they were the obvious frontrunners that season. And it was their first time. Jackie and Heidi will clearly not win this season, and have lip synced already. They will not reach the top 3, so this is dragging out the inevitable. (with redacted gone I see Heidi reaching top 4, but the obvious 4 is : Sherri, Gigi, Chrystal and Jada.)
Jujubee was the first RuGirl I’ve ever met. She was nothing but adorable and supportive. I was in drag and she complimented me and was so polite and funny. Definitely a great experience. And her show was AMAZING

The point isn't to pick on Gigi but to point out that if they were to sew their outfits ON the show, it would work in favour of people like Heidi whose partner was plus-size but she didn't know beforehand, so she had to BORROW a whole new outfit. Putting her in the bottom. If ALL of them were to sew, this wouldn't be a handicap. Kinda gross that the show always pushes plus-size or even different racial background makeover people as a hinderance on the girls
Archer but the briefs were given to every gurl. I love Heidi but she should be expecting a sz 6-30 to be swinging through that door. I also don’t think it’s lazy. Remember they can hire people to sew those dresses back home. I doubt many queens do their own looks unless they’re proficient at garment construction. Big girls and non white gurls shouldn’t be viewed as hinderance. Look at Jaida, she picked a gurl who has different complexion to herself and she still rocked it. Aside from the outfit not bearing any family resemblance, Heidi also committed the ultimate sin in family resemblance challenge; she had the better outfit on. If she dumbed down her look, she would have still ended on the bottom but at least it would have been similar.
I wanted Crystal to win this challenge but I'm not gonna lie, Jaida winning her 3rd win really makes sense with my fantasy. All the Gigi stans are shaking!

The people who were "successful" brought their outfits already completely made and that fit their makeover partner. The only thing a couple needed to do was some tailoring.
Heidi ended up borrowing an outfit to fit her partner. NOBODY was sewing an outfit on the fly.
Jaida made the outfits she and her partner wore (but she might've pre-made them idk)
Yes, Jaida made her outfits BEFORE she got there. Everyone on stage in matching outfits had them done before they arrived.
Heidi shared the outfits she brought for the challenge, but didn't use because it wouldn't fit her partner.
My point was the other contestants lucked out and were able to use the outfits they brought with them.
That's luck, not a huge accomplishment. People are talking like everyone but Heidi met their makeover partner and made them an outfit to match them right there and then.
It's like all the praise on these "polished" queens when what they are is rich enough to buy custom made outfits and wigs made by other people.
The judging is so uneven, you literally can't judge contestants the same if they aren't starting on an even playing field. Wish they would have made it fair and given them time and made the girls sew.

This episode was WHOLESOME. My favorite yet. Gigi and her partner are probably bffs to this day and had PERFECT chemistry. Janet the Planet ATE it up despite her partner. Jaida finally had her moment of true emotion and she and her partner really connected, their on runway skit was super fitting to how she really had really get her partner confident. Also, crystal and her partner were SOUL SISTERS and the partner killed the lipsync. This was my fave yet easily.

Heidi was sadly the worst, and between Gigi and Jackie, I do think Gigi had a look that was a bit more polished and told a better story. I agree it was kinda boring, but that's why she didn't win, even though the makeover challenge should have been in her wheelhouse.

crystal is one of the most diverse queens we have ever seen on the show. although she has not won a challenge (yet) i would not mind her winning this season. i know she would have to snag a win or two before the season ends and then slay the finale round(s).

No hate towards Gigi, but I would love for Crystal to win because throughout the entire series, there have been two "underdogs" who have won (season 5 and 9)while the rest wasn't a surprise at all. @Rachael Albertson-Kill Jaida won because she has the hardest tasks. 1 she assigned everybody fair partners and didnt play any mental games, 2 bet is white and jaida is black and she made them look alike, 3 bet was the worst at walking in heels and had the least rhytm and 4 she made all the clothes and jewerly by herself. So Jaida won fair, Crystal was good but really did nothing out of her box or hard.
