Yet another good and informative video :)
Interesting news about the production of new S300 missiles (I presume?) for Ukraine. I guess they would have a significant amount of launchers left. It would be perfect if they could reach enough longer range launchers that they could start taking more risk in their deployments. They simply need to stop those glide bombers. I also heard rumours that more HAWKs are on their way and also all the IRIS-Ts coming the next 18 months. If they can start having more longer range SAMs close enough to force the Ruzzian bombers down in alt. both HAWK and IRIS-T SLM could help keeping the bombers out of range.
Does anyone have some info on those Dutch radars procured by Germany? If they can start locating the Ruzzian recon and Zala drones in the front line areas it would be a huge improvement - almost a game changer - since they seem to have the skills to take them out with other drones now. But they still need to locate them.
Oh-oh that helicopter almost scraped the ground. No margin for error left there!

      That is true.
Also they need a lot wider front to be able to take the city. Bigger towns usually fall when surrounded by 3 sides and logistical support for defenders is jeopardized. Direct attacks and taking so many buildings in a frontal assault is too hard/costly.

@@Oxnaforda a stalemate? it seems rather that the russians have the initiative, while the ukrainians have possibly endangered precious reserves in a risky gamble in kursk. if the incursion in kursk fails, (which is highly likely) then the ukrainian forces are in far more dire straits than they are now.

@@Manwendlil the thing is we get caught up in these zoomed in maps and taking a village or town looks like a big change, but in terms of total land held it is nothing and is insignificant really. Same for Ukraine's incursion into russia it's nothing really in terms of the long term territor. Of course those small gains can lead to big breakthroughs but at the moment territory has pretty much stayed the same for over a year. I'm not an expert I may be wrong in my terminology but I'd call that effectively a stalemate. In regards to kursk if it does get to a point where it's too difficult to hold they will withdraw I doubt they will hold onto it like bakhmut or avdiivka. At the moment it looks like russia has accepted to lose that territory for the time being.

You guys? LOL who's you guys?
I ain't in UKR, the UA (as of this comment) rn, nor am I a conscripted Russian.
It's a fact that if UA doesn't pull out in timely manner on a possible Kursk failure, the UA will lose a shit ton of ground and possibly the whole initiative.
The war is indeed in a stalemate status. W.e. UA wins in Kursk doesn't mean anything if they keep letting Z get deeper in Donbas... like they have been doing for 2 weeks now. If UA doesn't push the East, it was all for show.
Russia is under an Authoritarian regime. They can literally force their people into fighting and building up their military infrastructure. Unless UKR does the same, and "the west" finally halts their capitalist grind and let the UA have/use the armament how they see fit, Z will keep grinding away. You people have to stop acting like Z ain't willing to go home with a phyrric victory. A W is a W no matter what.
It doesn't being a war veteran, historian, and geopolitics buff/analyst to know this (which I happen to be all 3).

Russian commanders are not stupid, once Ukrainian troops came to Pokrovsk to reinforce it the Russians simply shifted their attention to the south. What a strategic blunder by the Ukrainians, shows that Russian command have great adapt ability 😲.
Another disaster about to happen, Ukraine will be forced to withdraw if the Russians manage to move a few km to the south. The area the Ukrainians will be forced to withdraw are some really strong positions that they've held for a long time, if I'm not mistaken they will be forced to flee 13km to the west.
