Imagine being in the toilet when that happened ...
Don't assume he died because he didn't have on his seat belt. He could have had a heart attack. Turbulence that bad could cause severe fear and panic.
A report said he did have a heart attack.
Only time I remove my seat belt is to use the restroom.
Is this the first time turbulence has caused death?
That's a really good question. I was curious too
No, I believe it isn't.
Always have your seat belt on, when in your seat. Always.
I'm sure a announcement was made about turbulence and that means get in your seat and PUT ON THE SEATBELT!
Now, if you are in the bathroom or out of your seat when it hits...........???
Boeing for yah..though i better not say a lot cause theyll probably sent a hit squad after me.
Boeing blaming turbulence.... not sure man!
It used to be safer to fly than to drive. Now I'm not so sure!
Still and is much safer to fly than to drive
Planes fall for 10 minutes.
Gotta keep your seatbelt on. Don't understand why people take it off as soon as they're allowed acting like the thing is on fire. You won't be any less comfortable with it on.
Thats just crazy... aren't pilots warned when severe turbulance can be an issue
So sad
Strange for such a famous pilot.
Turbulence have nothing to do with the aircraft.
If you wore your seat belt you wouldn't be dead.
Theyve been proven to have been cheapening out on maintaining aircraft;, which are failing or catching fire in various ways left and right. How else are they cutting costs? Overworking staff? Not properly maintaining other systems?
If they didnt cheapen out on their customers to cut every corner possible maybe someone wouldnt have died.
Fixed it for ya.
@@pianoman7753 sign was on and people felt they didn’t have to listen. So they payed the price.
Well, that should be all the proof anybody needs.
@@pianoman7753everything you just said has absolutely zero to do with the person dying. They didn’t wear their seatbelt and were launched in the air. I don’t know how you can be so dense.
I wonder what the warning was, radar should have shown it was coming. If impossible to avoid at least adequate warnings would have alerted people to be prepared.
Turbulence on flights can be caused by storms, mountains, and strong air currents called jet streams. In this last case, it is called clear-air turbulence, and it can be difficult to avoid because it doesn't show up on the weather radar in the flight deck.
You don’t see turbulence on radar you nitwit
Unless you were on way to the loo there was no reason to have your seatbelt off -no sympathy
