Very practical and informative. I like, you first explained the layout of your application windows on the monitor - this helps to get the feeling how practical it could be, and then you explained the shortcuts. Well done. Worth the time.
How do you custom size the windows? Is there a way to make the window a different size to the presets and then save, then create a short cut to automatically bring back that size?
It looks like it! Magnet has a bunch of shortcuts too, but I only learned what I wanted to make it quickly shift. After some time, the shortcuts become second nature to me, and I even feel weird when I hop onto a computer that doesn't have it.
Magnet is currently a one time payment of $4.99. If you want free you may have to find another app that does something similar or maximize your windows and you can tile them that way.
left & right split hot key: control + option + left/right
Thanks, Jenny! This was helpful!
@@livingavocallife glad it was helpful Valerie! 💙

Not that I know of!
@@skybluejenny Yoh, that's a shame, thanks for getting back.
Is there no option to automatically snap things to a grid if you have multiple windows open at once?
Not that I know of, but I also have more windows open than I would like to view at once.
Does Rectangle do similar things? I have rectangle but find it a pain to use all the shortcuts.
It looks like it!

Is there any free version of Magnet?
