Like others have written, "Pressure Machine" is a masterpiece. There's not a sinlgle song on this album that I can even think of skipping. It is a beautiful and cohesive album - and it's nice to hear such a beautiful piece of work from beginning to end.
I have trouble understanding why fans want a band to stagnate in the same sound for decades. As a human I have grown ...Im not in the same place I was when Hot Fuss was released. These guys were so young when their first albums hit... They're men now with tremendous lived experience, collectively. There is quality and exploration toward new musical horizons evidenced by ITM and PM. I could not passionately embrace a regurgitated album for decades nor would I want them to chain themselves to that kind of artistic damnation. Their previous excellent work is still available to us. Those albums Still stand strong. However: It has been an unmitigated full- bodied experience to receive tKillers' last two albums. Absolute musical joy.
Holy Sh*t, how did I not know about The Killers???? Stumbled across Quiet Town on a Spotify and know I'm stunned by this Masterpiece of a release, Pressure Machine. FIVE stars unsufficient.
The thing is the Killers are always kind of messing with their style each album, so if you want something that has more of that heartland rock sound I'd recommend checking out Sam's Town first, and then Battleborn. Their first album Hot Fuss is more of a post-punk British alternative sound, there are serious dance vibes to Day and Age, and Wonderful Wonderful and Imploding the Mirage both have a pop-rock sound that kind of leans into sort of a Bowie-esque or Fleetwood Mac inspiration. If I were to pick my favorite three albums of the bunch though its Sam's Town, Imploding the Mirage and Pressure Machine.
You’d appreciate their entire catalogue, but Pressure Machine is one of those albums that I was jaw dropped the entire time I listened to it the first time. Every song is a piece of musical art. Absolutely incredible album start to finish. These guys have always been good but they just keep getting better.
They are a few of the last real “rock” stars left!! A band that still writes there music and performs without studio heads or ghost writers. Today’s music blows!! Thank you killers!!!
I was their last night at firefly they were great this was the only song they played from their new album, I wish they played In the car outside that song would have been amazing to hear live but the rest of the songs of Pressure Machine are not uplifting and hype for a festival but they did a great rendition of Cody I thought this was awesome and reinvented for how depressing this song is off the album
Pressure Machine will go on to stand the test of time. It’s a masterpiece.
Couldn’t have said it better myself
Like every other killers' album, as always
a true masterpiece!
Masterpiece ❤️
Completely agree

Couldn’t agree more!
They are legendary. I mean Johnny Cash did alot of concept albums has Bruce did. Love all
Good point
The last 5 albums have been mediocre. I just want them to make better songs. Don't celebrate mediocrity, strive for better.
@@bblovely7788 hahahaha.... what? There is no mediocrity here!
2:03 I think he laughs because he’s supposed to sing “fall from the firmament and give us nice things “
This album is absolutely brilliant. I listened to it in repeat for the past weeks.

You should 100% listen to their earlier stuff as well which is what made them so popular

Go back to when he could sing bro. And didn't need the backing shite.
Different ballgame
I was lucky enough to see this song live in London. Such a show stopper! The live version is amazing!
Saw it yesterday at NYC and bought tickets to go again today
This is such a Tom Petty song. Easily the best track on the album. I wish Tom were still around to cover it. 🖤
I get more of a Springsteen vibe
It’s like a 2021 Sam’s Town track. That’s more than fine by me
Big Sam's Town vibes from Pressure Machine all around. I love the record
Uncle Johny vibes
They are a few of the last real “rock” stars left!! A band that still writes there music and performs without studio heads or ghost writers. Today’s music blows!! Thank you killers!!!
The album is amazing. In a time where a lot of music is lazy and generic the Killers once again give us a true blessing for the ears
this is prob my fav on the album

This song make me cry, all pressure machine it's a Masterpiece.
I love the electric guitar part!! 2:18
Best The Killers album so far...
I wasn't sure if new album tracks would translate ok to the big stage gigs but this works fine.
I feel the opposite, just look at the few seconds when we can see the crowd and the first row.
This gets better live.
No ao vivo o som pesado da guitarra deixa tudo melhor do que já é.
The pressure machine album is a masterpiece.

David didn't start the fire; Ronnie thinks he did.
this is a classic already
I really like Brandons hair in this video
Muito obrigado. Brazil.
I loveeeee this song
Real rock song...cool guys!!
Was this at Firefly? If so I was there and it was awesome!
❤❤❤❤
Whoa when did they play a live show??
This song live hits different
Unpopular opinion: Pressure machine is their best album :)
Missing some brass instruments but still sounds great.
Great song but why straight in with the drums- great how they come in late on the recorded version
Te meas!!
Cody (The Miracle)*
Springsteen vibes
Isnt't the guitar out of tune a little???
