    We went to Nicks Boots up in Spokane Washington to make the perfect sheath for the Buck 120 and Buck 119 Fixed Blades. These American Made full grain leather sheaths are a dangler set up to fix a big problem I had with my Buck 120 while riding my motorcycle cross country. I tried to add it to my wish list after creating an account, it says "We can't add the item to Wish List right now: Cannot add product without stock to wishlist.". Im for sure interested in this as i have a brand new Buck 120 that belonged to my Dad who passed away 3 years ago. I would love to use it but the sheath just doesn't work for me being so high on the belt. Hope to get my hand on one of these!

      @@kloudedkoncepts7787if they don’t make more I’ll sell you mine for exactly what I paid for it. I don’t even have a 120 yet, so I got the sheath before the knife. But since yours has sentimental value I would have no problem with getting the sheath to a good home.

  • @nirfz
    @nirfz Год назад +1

    4:21 i am not able to spot if the black leather part is higher than the rivet. If it is, this could prevent the blade from touching the rivet and scratching the finish. Otherwise it would be ideal to put some sort of thing cloth over the rivet.
    I know that brass is softer than steel, bt you can still leave marks on a surface finish with slightly softer materials.

    Hi Zack, in which video you have Tony Wagner form Buck Knives?

  • @brightforwar3831
    @brightforwar3831 Год назад

    I believe the leather used was too thin. The welt and everything. The sheath had too much flex, and looked too soft when the knife was inserted. The craftsmanship was on point, shop tools etc - all great. That knife will pop through the side or front and back panels of that sheath after a fall off a horse, atv, tree stand, etc. I am just trying to be fair here. I’ve been a knifemaker and leather worker for 20 years, and that leather simply needed to be a few ounces heavier.
