This is cool but I like how the og ones are basic and just simple. I feel like the point of the icons was to be a small image so show where your progress is and to not be detailed so you don’t get distracted
Thats why they’re called icons, because icons are usually simple little images that like you said, aren’t meant to be distracting.

the result is pretty cool ngl, but one again, icons are mean to be a "simplified" version of the face (or some characteristic) of the character, not the character's face, and also they just have 2 or 3 colors, not the whole palet. anyways im not complaining at all, the drawings are pretty well done and look nice :)
