damnnn pete’s adam sandler impression and kate’s lisa kudrow was soooo accurate
Cecily’s Sofia Vergara cracks me up every time. And Bill Hader and Kate McKinnon are brilliant.🤣
The crazy thing about Sofia is that apparently she lost much of her accent when she first arrived, and then reacquired it for roles
The fact that John Oliver actually did play Zazu just makes this even better.
When I saw that part I was like “Wait a minute.”
the cast was already announced at the time.. they say it right before the bit.. gosh...
The sheer on point accent with the "now this" was wonderful
@@SpArX0110 everyone except for Zazu had been cast at that point. They were having trouble finding someone who could play him. And then a Disney executive happened to watch this RUclips video and a light bulb went off above his head. And they hired him, John Olvier.

Why isn't anyone talking about how Matt Damon nailed Chris Hemsworth and Matthew McConaughey?
Chris Hemsworth one was perfect. He's just all smiles and humble and kind and makes some joke about himself with a little grin and wink afterwards.

Idk i think what makes this work in a funny way is when their impressions do something unrelated to movie they're auditioning for.
And i think the most perfect is the Chris Tucker audition; like he is literally dressed in the costume for the other movie, The Fifth Element;
And not to mention the line he auditions with: which is literally a reference to yet another movie, rush hour. It's likely genius shit
And the Joey Lawrence is funny.
And the Keenan's Sinbad is always funny, but the triceratops jokes is likely genius.

But Heidi basically is Kristen Schaal... it's not that brilliant, she just has to act like herself. When she got hired on to SNL I had to do a double-take and realize they were two different people. Heidi is WAY less funny, unfortunately. She doesn't even do a great Kristen Schaal impression.

@@jluebs I don't get where your comment comes from at all having watched many SNL episodes. She plays all different types of roles and her Schaal impression is absolutely amazing. Her Drew Barrymore was also great. And the Janney one was decent, too. Each to their own, I guess.

I can never get over how good EVERY SINGLE ONE of Kate's impressions are. Like the other cast members are definitely good but I swear I end up laughing every time she comes on screen during these sketches

Leslie's Woopi was straight up Amazing
I love that when Kate is doing Ellen, she usually ends with 'I'm Ellen' and in audition for Jurassic Park she ends with 'I'm 90s Ellen'
I love how this segment exists only and only for the cast members to show off their impressions skills.
I don't know why Sinbad just doing a stand-up bit as his audition cracks me up so much.
Also Melissa Villasenior is always criminally underused.
Seriously. I do not understand why Melissa isn’t more called upon, she’s incredible.
@@kpeezyforsheezy From what I know of her and the way SNL works, I think she's a little too nice for that competitive environment where you have to really fight to get your stuff on the air.
Her Sarah Silverman might be better than Sarah Silverman's Sarah Silverman.

And now Villasenor is gone. She, along with Aristotle Athari, Alex Moffat, Pete Davidson, Kyle Mooney, Kate McKinnon, and Aidy Bryant are not coming back for the upcoming 48th season of SNL.

No one seems to be commenting on Matt Damon's literally perfect isolated wink. OMG. Watch it again. Literally nothing moves on his face other than his eyelids. He has truly taught himself to blink with one eye.

I usually dont't like when celebs come on these sketches to play themselves but when emma stone had that line about being able to play "a convincing half asian woman" it KILLED me. I love when people are able to poke fun at huge failures and career flops like that without getting overly bitter

That Kristen Schaal impression is seriously disturbing, she could walk into most places where Kristen Schaal is expected to be and pass for her. Insane. I know she has the massive advantage of looking a lot like her, but damn, you can tell she worked like crazy on this one.

The impersonations are SO GOOD. Some of them are so spot on it's insane. I could watch these auditions all day. This sh*t has me wheezing. It's so funny and impressive at the same time. Also Matt Damon coming in clutch with that Matthew McConaughey impression. The Chris Hemsworth too. Man, so many talented people in this world. Wish I were one of them lol.

@@adamhawn2523 If Pete didn't break so much he would probably get less hate. I think he is really funny, but when he breaks on live sketches half the time I have to skip because it becomes awkward since its not a break on a funny part and the audience is not laughing.

Impressions humanize extremely powerful and influential celebrities. It’s a way for the rest of us to relate to them. Impressions are needed today more than ever. I always admire the boldness, talent, and humanity of impressionists, and the celebrities who can laugh at themselves. These are all great.
