Note the nifty move at 3:50. Turning onto Colorado Boulevard is a tricky proposition. The angle is wicked. Left side of lines systematically jump ahead of right to initiate the turn.
That's the Badger Step. The Wisconsin Marching Band is one of the most energetic and talented bands in the nation. Members have to try out and earn their spot in the band. Some serve a year or more with just a ' half spot'. You should see their 5th Quarter. No one leaves the stands !!
I worked the rose parade for 20 years and I only went to a new year game and it was so much fun that I want to go this 2020 game, hello Wisconsin!!!...
Thanks to Melissa I got much love for Wisconsin band she introduced me to them um you guys rock keep up the good work and I'll see you again at the Rose Bowl is a great experience for me thank you for the great performance you guys did last year love it and keep up the good work
The Big Ten has the best marching bands. That exaggerated Big Ten step HAS to hurt, though! And you have a fabulous drum major as well. I watched him during the pregame and at halftime. He is one of the best I've ever seen. So sorry you lost, but the band was outstanding!
hey my high school does that too. except only on left turns :( but we win a lot of street competitions with it mixed with our kick ass band. awesome turn. Go UW! Go FHS (Fayette High School) look up Fayette mo marching band off the line and click the first link to see us do this corner
Some of the best marching bands are from black colleges, but they say all the "diversity" in other colleges is drawing away their students! It's too bad, really, because those are some of the most excellent places of learning in the country.
The band I was in can actually maintain alignment and march at the same time... and do it while playing a song... not to dog on the UW band, I love them, but yeah.
Finally a band that does a true military corner - not a swinging gate - Fantastic.
Great video! The UW Marching Band is the best!! On Wisconsin!
Another great video. It does a great job of capturing the spirit of the Badger Band.
It makes me happy seeing the amount of trombone and sousaphones there are. Our band only has two sousaphones and around 10 trombones (including me)
I'm in the band, and yea, the step is extremely tiring. Thanks for the complements!

+Peter Hoff é um movimento bastante complicado

Whoa they have to tryout isn't that every college band ever and have you seen the 110 they have more energy than them.
@ThrillCoasters305 No bro, we are better
Thanks. I always enjoy seeing this band. Hope they can come back next year :)
I'm proud of Wisconsin. The trombone love is real

MosinMauserSmith9130 it does. I’m 25 and my knees still hurt most days from that marching 😂
I’m in the front row third from the right of the video (short trumpet player next to the other short trumpet player)
@@JolteOnWisconsin how many times you’ve played on Wisconsin that day?
Great video!! thanks for posting
Your video is better than what NBC produced today. In fact anything would be better because they did not show the band at all.
THANK YOU!!! Best footage I've seen so far!
Great footage _

What is the name of this music?
MIGUEL BREDA On Wisconsin
This was my high school fight song in Indiana!!! Ha! Big 10 bands are awesome!
There is no show i see just some crowd walking on the street
Just a little friendly racial humor-I could only see one black guy through out the march.
