Also REALLY liking my Baker's 7 (8y10m) bottle ($58 on sale) on Friday night's. There's one more 8y10m left at the store. I may need to go back and get it, but it's back up to $65.

This is my new poor proletariat 5 bourbon list. Although WT 101 could double as the mixer as well, leaving a space for a rye option.
Love the makers mark cask strength. A great findable sheared bourbon! Cheers.
The only thing I can get of these is the EW.

Yea I like Old Forester. I am sure there are better options especially for the special one but I am a little new to bourbon and still collecting and trying different stuff. My actual special occasion now is CRXR18Y but not bourbon so can't include it in this list. I do have a bottles of JD#27 and Elijah Craig barrel proof that might take over the JR ocean but have not opened them yet so not sure how they would taste.

Nice list! So in attempting to create such a list: sipper Early Times - mixer OF 100 - next 3 Stagg (jr) or Elijah Craig BP - next level Michters 10 - top shelf: either a Pappy or a BTAC
I picked up a bottle of the early times bottled in bond per your recommendation and I have to say it has not disappointed. First it was a little spiced for me and tabacco heavy but as time went on it came alive with red fruits and berries. Less spice now but great vanilla notes with the red fruit. Great video Patrick. Keep them coming.

I dig the list. I wish more people realized how good EW BIB can be. Any recommendations for liquor stores to check out in Denver by the airport or in Boulder?

@@TheWhiskeyCove GTS was popped at new years with WFP SP, W12, Old Rip 10, and a Blantons pick. GTS was great but I’m excited to try it after letting it open

@@TheWhiskeyCove I haven’t tried it yet honestly but people are impressed when they see it. I’ll open it closer to the end of the year. Spec’s in Texas has a massive drop and that’s the time to get everything you could dream of. We were like 320 in line and I got Blanton’s gold store pick, Stagg store pick, eagle rare pick, buffalo trace pick and we had a choice between 107 and full proof pick. So you can make a haul out of that place.
@@TheWhiskeyCove honestly I’m still fairly new to bourbon so the Blanton’s gold, Stagg or my wellers are what impresses people I guess.

Evan Williams BIB Is literally the only bottle I have ever seen on the shelf. 80% Of your list is not applicable where I live in America😂 😢😢😢 I’ve never seen early times bib ever in my life. I’m not sure it’s sold in America.

So that’s why I can’t find Midwinter Night’s Dram. He bought them all.
Every store around me has at least a case of MWND. Just sits on shelf.
It’s around mostly everywhere this year but the ones you see date back to the 8 batch that also include two encores! I’ve been a big high west fan for a long time and go out to the distillery every year. I was there for the release party this past year and recommend it if you want to have a fun time and score a bottle! Thanks for watching buddy
