Great career at WVU. Toe and ankle injuries curtailed his senior year. Played pro, but too small at RB for the NFL. Returned to WVU and got his degree. Great player, better man.
Don't quite understand why there wasn't more of a place for him in the NFL. Darren Sproles played 14 years in the league and he was around the same height and weighed a little bit more but had a strikingly similar game as Devine. Definitely think he could have been used on special teams or situationally in the right system or with a coach who would've known how to use him.
@@Riles3152was trash didn't have great vision same with deanthony Thomas, Cris Rainey and Jeff demps all quick but not great long speed rainy and devin both got walked down by 10 yards by fsu players .Demps was a super burner never seen him get walked always pulled away!
Man. In high school, this was the only guy I watched religiously. I knew he was going to be the goat. Crazy how things happen man. Injuries. Scheme. Time. Life
Colton thanks for this one man, and all your work. Devine was a beast. Rashard Mendenhall's college career could use a highlight package if you were looking for a non-WVU guy to do.
He played high school at North Ft Myers, against my high school(same years I was there). He ran a legit 4.2?/low 4.3(max). He also ran the 100 meter in mid/low 10s(depending on health). This is the quickest/fastest/most agile humane I’ve seen in person(1% or less of human athleticism). Look how he runs past OU defenders like they are walking 🤯. He was a combination of Barry Sanders, Chris Johnson, Reggie Bush(stop and go in open field). He was one of a kind.
I'll miss the days of seein pdubb and Indy run the twisted triple option. True pioneers of their time. In or around that same era the canes and the ducks sported some of the dopest alternate uniforms, and the Buckeyes had a few vikings that were linebackering souls straight to hell.
September 25, 2010 final score: LSU 20 WVU 14 in Death Valley (Baton Rouge, LA). Had Noel Divine not been injured in the second half on a cheap shot, I think WVU would have defeated the Tigers who barely hanged on for the win in front of 93,000 fans.
This kid was more QUICK than FAST, in retrospect. He had both quickness and speed, but it was his quickness that made his stand out. Go watch some old highlight reels of TED GINN when he was at Ohio State, if you want to see raw speed at it's best, at the NCAA level.
Not going to lie that dude for fsu walked him down in that bowl game.He was more quick then fast!Him ,Rainey, demps, and deanthony Thomas where all busts!great clips and footage Cole keepim coming👍
100%🧢sproles was 5'5 .scouts said he lacked great vision and balance .never seen him break a tackle either when he got him in college he when down,Darren sproles on the other hand was even smaller and would bounce of people
He never played a game in the Nfl…. I wish y’all would do some research before typing b.s he was on the eagles practice squad for a short while before his best friend died & left the squad came back to his home town & never returned

Nobody is to small for a rb you dummy. He was just injured

Wasn't too small
@@elishareilly7980 Was trash?! Didn't have great vision? Get outta here, clown.
Slaton to Devine to Tavon, what a streak of amazing RB/receiver talent
He had the coldest high school mixtape ever. No debate.
If you said that's the number 1 highschool running back in history it would make sense.
Still remember he had 9 carries for 400 something on us 😂😂😂 Riverdale high school ) smh

First real you tube package with music and so on
He had kids between that man.... Needed to provide asap
I could watch these highlights every year. What a beast Noel Devine was, Fort Myers Legend to WVU legend!
went from WVU to FL and back to watch DEVINE!!!!!!!! NOW NEAL BROWN - NEVER FEAR!!!
I’m praying there’s a Geno Smith, Stedman Bailey, and Tavon Austin video. Bonus points for Will Grier and David Sills

Thank you!
I swear he reaches his top speed quicker than anyone in cfb history.
Even faster than sproles.
And his top end speed is tremendous!
I miss him

Players like him are a QB's dream! You can toss him a simple 5-7 yard screen and he'll easily taken it 60+ yards to the house! Rare explosionsiveness!

I still want a patchcard auto of his. I mimicked this man my whole highschool years
I was lucky enough to see his whole WVU career and even a couple games in person. Very shifty and fun to watch player.
He is Devine, He is Fast and Fine.

Devin Hester at Miami brother
Devin Hester at MIAMI
One time for my guy Fro 239 all day RIP Pop if you know you know
Did lady say we went from speed with SLATON to super speed with Devine? TF, did she watch WV football before this season.

Did you know rainy and Noel actually raced in high school?? They raced in a Walmart parking lot in Lakeland
So this was one of Coach Primes foster sons? That's crazy
Great rb
Dude was the truth early on. Wish rich rod wouldve never left or devine could have left to Michigan w rich rod and finish his career.
Question was lamichael James better?
No
If Noel was just like 5’10” he probably would be in the league for 10 years

Missed out on tens of Millions of dollars for him and his family and his story
None of the pro teams used him effectively.
I’ve met him before
WVU should start with Marshall and end with PITT. Just saying
He was good. Why didn't he translate to the NFL. I DON'T KNOW 😂
