We are given a slight cliffhanger regarding the fate of the X-Men who are seen stranded in past and future timelines, and three of them, Storm, Wolverine, and Morph are still missing in action. Since the Xmen are scattered across time I'm sure Storm, Wolverine and Morph have been trapped in Bishop’s timeline, remember the 1992 X-Men Animated series in the episode "Days of Future Past" where a variant of Wolverine’s adamantine skeleton is being displayed in Forge's Lab, I'm sure the old variant Forge in Bishop’s timeline would bond the metal to our salvaging Wolverine!

People have been interpreting Morph transforming into Jean and saying "I love you" as confirmation. I didn't get that sense personally. Had Morph said it in their natural form longingly, absolutely. That being said Morph smiled and transformed into Jean. I think it was a similar gesture as when Cyclops told Wolverine "Don't you break her heart." This season has deliberately shown us off and on how much Wolverine loves Jean Grey. Both Morph and Cyclops know Wolverine will fight to stay alive for Jean. Morph says "She can't say it right now, but I can", then uses their powers to transform into Jean as a way to keep their best friend fighting. Until we have actual concrete evidence, people need to chill and accept Wolverine and Morph are just friends.

Collosus, Shadowcat, Magik, Jubilee, Iceman, Sunspot, Emma Frost etc might all be part of a new xmen team for series 2 along with Forge and Bishop... just wondering..

She will not she is essentially the same character as Jubilee in most mediums. They are the viewer typically and since we already have jubilee its very doubtful to ever see Kitty. Its probably a good thing though as youd more likely get new kitty then old kitty anyway

That's easy, from TAS episode, One Man's Worth. Where Storm and Wolverine are married, and where Morph is shown twice. Once as his human male form with longer hair, fighting with Magento in a car-like-helicopter, then later the AoA or Exiles or neutral form version of Morph.

They finished writing season 2 and the Rouge actress finished recording her lines. So we shouldn't have to wait to long.
We are getting at least a partial adaptaion of the Rise of Apocalypse limited comic series from the 90's which featured Rama-Tut/Kang, so odds are he is the reason for the time travel. Bastion being the cause because he absorbed Cable's arm is plausable.... but I kind of hope we are done with Bastion. At least for a while. The X-Men have so many amazing villians to feature.

If Morph has feelings for Logan besides best friends I hope they don't stray too far from the narrative, to include it. Unnecessary and distracting. Logan wouldn't go for that anyway, Jean on the brain. And if they represent the Watcher properly, he will not interfere, he's called the Watcher for a reason. He's sworn not to interfere. They can't leave the heroes sent to Ancient Egypt there too long, since Rogue has to confront Horseman Gambit. Scott and Jean in the future could take all season to play out, maybe that story only gets a few minutes per episode to develop and they finish it suddenly to get to the season finale. I just hope it is paced better than the last season of the Young Justice show...

There's barely enough cover for "plausible deniability" (for viewers who are upset that a character that manifests a male appearance could fall in love with Wolverine), but yeah, I'm getting the same impression. Morph has fallen in love with Wolverine, and knows that it won't go anywhere because Logan doesn't share his feelings, but Morph can't help how s/he feels. Morph is literally physically trans-sexual and can be either (or presumably neither) biological sex at will. Why would such a being have a gender-based sexual preference? We have no idea what sexual characteristics Morph manifested at birth, if any.

X'97 has it's good moments, and it has its bad moments. Awesome getting to relive the childhood memories, but when seeing the woke agenda in the show, it does make me not want to watch. Storm, essentially, went from being a simple mutant to now, a parody of Thor. Rogue literally decided that sex was more important than her relationship. If the roles were reversed, Gambit would be nothing more than a "dog". Morph was never non-binary, & he shares the same abilities as Mystique, so does that mean she's no longer a woman, but a non-binary. And this "friendship" between Morph & Wolverine was awesome in the original show, but it's now more than that, but we're not gonna say it out loud. We know why.
Like most of everybody who clicked on this video, we grew up on the original show. It was our introduction into the world of comics. Please, don't make the same mistake Velma did. Don't ruin another good show that fans have been asking for for years.
Hopefully, Season 2 will fix some of those mistakes, otherwise there will be another boycott, and those studio's will lose money, and that's all they really want from the fan base.
There is basically zero chance they are going to dial back that nonsense. It's an unfortunate side effect of classics being brought back. Nothing stays true to what it was when it has to conform to the new modern sensibilities.
Storm was never a simple mutant. She’s always been an Omega level mutant who they mostly nerf.
@@TajiaNoelle Actually, Storm being an Omega level mutant is kinda recent and only really happened in the current Krakoa storyline. But yeah, she's always been a badass. She really should develop some kind of defensive power though, since she's basically a glass cannon

Where was storm at all, disappointed that a writer of color sidelined not only one of the most popular black superheros, but x men as a whole.
To any fans who are not watching X-Men 97 i say good riddance! Tired of salty fanboys and fangirls getting triggered over trivial issues. Because the reality is that the mutant narrative has always been about racism. Along with that, they have always dealt with all types of bigotry. So, I fail to see why some "fans" are upset with the context of the series. It was a fantastic series.
