"Hi Billy Mays here with OxiClean, the fastest way to destroy your vacuum!" Great filtration too. A few minutes of vacuuming and your house would look like someone set off a smoke bomb in there.
Tech and vac restorations and Tune-ups Baking soda will not kill your vacuum overtime I’m not saying to do it every time but if you buy that carpet powder it’s basically baking soda.
No, it's still not good for your vacuum. "Carpet cleaning" powders such as this will get past a household vacuum's cyclone and filters, and get into the motor and brushroll, wreaking havoc on motor and brushroll bearings as this stuff will dry them out and cause damage to your machine. So please, whatever you do, DO NOT use this stuff when using a household vacuum. Doesn't matter if it's something like a Dyson either, as the same problem is there. Even most commercial machines will quickly wear out using this stuff, so its best to use a shop vac to suck up powders like this if you have to.
I thought it did a pretty good job until I saw some of it get through the filter, being blown out of the vents. Now that's actually WAY worse than my Black and Decker Dustbuster!!!
Isn't the purpose of a vacuum to clean up a mess? If doing everyday cleaning destroys the motor, then that confirms it's cheap, disposable junk not made to last.
@@smashthings1 Well to be honest, piles upon piles of fine powder is in no way, shape or form "normal" cleaning of your home, and since this vacuum is is for household use only, it would be solely on the user if they damage a household unit after using it for commercial grade messes. But I do agree that this vacuum has nowhere near great filtration, and for a $50 machine you can't really complain.

No it's"hi Billy mays here for oxiclean the stain specialist"
They’re good vacuums, and plus they are supposed to not pick up fine dust.
As a tip you actually can suck up some regular baking soda in a bagged vacuum and it will help keep the dirt smell away.

I actually find the cleaning part satisfying 🙂
At first I was going to say it was doing rather good with this, but eventually I noticed some of it was escaping through the filter.
Still sounds fine. I guess it is ok and proves it that you can vacuum this stuff up.

Brayden D used it on plenty of my vacuums with no problem 😂
Short term no problem. Long term big oof
Sean's repairs and reviews as long as you clean the filters and blow out the motor with oiling the bearings, I think it’ll be fine.
Jacks Vacs and Safety I’ve used it on most if not all of my vacuums. No problem.
At first it almost looks like it was vacuuming up milk but I realized that was the powder
K I need a part 2 of this
That’s why u need a filter otherwise the dirt will destroy the motor and kill the Bearings
