It’s a modern technology called MIDI to USB cord that will allow any hardware that has that allows hardware to send and receive mídi and have basic controls.

Hi, thanks for the Video...couple of downsides guys 'n Serato Studio v2: Automation is not intuitive, it should be able to record and capture changes in plugins, such as cutoff movement, resonance, macros, etc in real time to be recorded. Automating them later is a nightmare (try Avenger Synth w/ hundreds of parameters...good luck). The audio algorithm is mediocre, because if you put a Loop and synchronize it with the speed of the project, the audio is heard as 'under the water', but if you don't change the time of the project, then the audio is perfect. It has 8 recording times (measures) per pattern, very little, it should have the option of at least 64 to be able to record long and more complex introductions, at least give us that options in settings. The Limiter and EQ and compression sound excellent, but do NOT have access to the individual parameters ....seriously Serato programmers ? year 2023 ?

I don't see that happening, Serato Stems requires a lot of computing power from a powerful computer, no stand alone device can match the power of a newer powerful computer processor, I'll give you an example, before Serato Stems was first introduced for the Serato DJ software that software didn't require a lot of computing power, it could be ran on almost any computer from the last 10 years, I ran it on a 2014 MacBook Air with a Intel Core i5 processor and only 4gb RAM with no issues for years but once the new version of Serato DJ 3 with Stems was introduced less than a year ago my laptop could not run it, it would get very hot and start tripping and from what I read online it was the same thing for many people with average power computers, so about 2 months ago I got a 2020 MacBook Air with the M1 chip and 8gb RAM and it runs the new Serato DJ software with Stems with no problem, so yeah it seems like you need a computer with a newer more powerful processor like the M1/M2 from Apple or something similar from other companies and at least 8gb of RAM and no stand alone device has that kind of power, if they made a stand alone device with that kind of power/processor it will probably cost a few thousand dollars!
@DJDAMIAN72 OH yeah, it won't be cheap, but it can be done. Lol, it's been a while since this post, and in that time, I been on the s2400 and Iam satisfied. The s2400 sounds magical. Peace 🙏

hey great Video, but i dont understand how he can get an "older" mpc as midi controller for Serato Studio. I tryed my MPC Studio Black as Midi Controller and it worked but all the pads played not in the right order of the banks. Maybe Serato can help me?
STEMS Funktion only in Serato Studio ? No in Serato sample ?

Serato Stems is a feature that's currently only available in Serato Studio (our DAW) and Serato DJ - it's not available as a standalone plugin, sorry!
