Siri, show me a first rate looper managing his player, keeping him relaxed but zoned, keyed but not bubbling over, taking his mind off when it needs taking off, feeding him the course and doing it all unobtrusively, subtly, with enormous skill while making sure everyone has a good time. One of the best caddies on tour, Richard Hanna.
I think Jeff said once that he's got a tendency to overthink shots and situations and it was a problem for him when he was younger. I bet having a caddie that can take his mind off the game for a few minutes actually helps with that stuff.
More of this please. Great content. I would love ever more of the yardage book, decision making piece of it. Add some post b-roll of the yardage book and what they went through to make the decision and then show where the ball pitched and rolled out to distance wise. I would watch an entire round of each hole for an entire round. Down to reading greens etc.
I’d love to be a caddy one day! I love golf but don’t play it often or well enough but I still love the sport. I wish there were more accessible ways of becoming a caddy. Also I watched a caddy training video from like 9 years ago and they said you should always be in front of the player so that you can get to the ball first but everyone I see on tour their caddy is either side by side or behind the player 😂 is it more a private club ethica or just an out dated advice?
You I think about the same things on the golf course, “ did I leave the iron on, did I leave the garage door open, I wonder what those people are eating, I like beer, hope there’s no traffic on the way home! And that’s just on the range!!
Great caddy, Shane is a top bloke, a true Irish legend, the kids should be ignoring clowns like McGregor and supporting top sports men like Shane, I know who’d I’d rather my kids look up to
We need more of these in 2024. Great stuff.
I love seeing this, good chatting between Jeff, Shane and Jeff's caddy... It makes golfing more fun with a little conversation

Spot on
This Caddy is pure gold 😂

Really enjoyed this the caddie is a great guy really charismatic
Really enjoyed this. Very interesting to see the role of a top caddy.
That was a really good watch and would love to see more of the same
Scandinavians are effortlessly cool. Nice one Jeff.
This was great!!
Awesome insight 👏
Love it, 2 mates out for a chat and a bit of stick, oh and play some decent golf to
Great content, more like this please
Amazing that amidst all that conversation, they never once talked about golf! Could learn something from that I think.
DP does social media sooo much better than the PGA.

Jeff Winther seems like a nice bloke. Man sends darts
The golf gets in the way of a lot of things 😂.
Yep, they feel no different about their job than how we feel about ours. "Game" / "sport," or not.

It smells like Christmas trees had me
"Balsam" is "balsa" in Danish so I dunno why Jeff didn't get that.
