API stands for Application programming interface. It is a specification to be used as an interface by an application.
An API, enables companies to open up their applications data and functionality to external third-party developers, business partners, and internal departments within their own companies.
This allows services and products to communicate with each other and leverage each other’s data and functionality through a documented interface.

Developers don’t need to know how an API is implemented, they simply use the interface to communicate with other products and services.

Kindly do on latest Upadted REST API, SOAP API
Thank you for your feedback.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and to this video, I would like to ask how can a fresh graduate like me land a SAP Cloud Integration Job, I have taken some courses on OpenSap and Udemy. How can I catch the attention of recruiters? should I start making API's and Integrations from free services like Northwind? then post on blogs SAP? Thank you in advance! 😄
There are very limited openings for freshers in SAP CPI. You can practice some real time scenario and highlight in your resume to get a call. Best of luck !!
Freshers less scope in SAP CPI or CI
Try internships as much as you can and practice more not just for writing blogs
For getting command on concept in real time projects. Untill unless you have minimum experience (at least internships) no recruiters look at you .
Certifications are nothing in this practical world when you have subject, they just like ads on your profile to get clicked by recruiters.
Have a mentor or real time guide .
Know about BPM ( Business Process Management) .
My best advice for freshers who want enter SAP do internships or get involved real-time scenarios.
Last but not least practice practice practice until u got bored 🤣.
Hope for good 👍.
