I appreciate it.
Simplest, no-nonsense, straightforward explanation about 🇵🇦 I was looking for. Thanks 😊
Just back from Panama City. (Obarrio - near the area of this video).
Uber works well, and not expensive.
Food prices vary from not so expensive to over the top.
We felt safe - and welcome.
Panamá es un gran lugar, and you can use English in most cases.
As Panamanian I agree 100%. Glad you enjoy your staying here. Muchas bendiciones y espero regreses pronto. 😘💕🇵🇦
Hey. How is for an European to move to Panama? I speak English and Spanish . My dream is to move there but I don't know how to apply for jobs. You have some links of jobs or something like that to help me ? thx a lot in advance .
Just came back this week from Vacation there. Beautiful place: the people and food are amazing.
I like Sly's videos. They are straight and to the point and he knows what he is talking about. Thanks for the info on Panama.
I agree with you. The prices are high compared to when I was living there as a child. Enjoy and Thanks!
This was very helpful. We just returned from Panama City. Your video was on point
I loved Panama - the metro/subway is very nice! Super new and clean. I could easily live there!
I love Panamá so much, the caribbean side is beautiful too.
In Panama now. Such an accurate and comprehensive video.
Great job! Was on the Panama Canal cruise and took a city tour. It was nice to revisit virtually.
Great info - all the important stuff in a concise way. Thank you!
Great assessment Sly. Thanks !
Sly bro!
You’re the man!
It’s like you knew exactly what I would ask and you gave all the answers.
I’ll be traveling to Brazil 🇧🇷 again as I do every year and on my way back I will be stopping Panamá City Panamá 🇵🇦 and stay for a while so thank you so much my friend!
You’re awesome and I love your very informative and helpful videos!
I am one of your loyal subscribers 🤙🏽
God bless my friend 🙏
Took that exact walk today! Spot on as always, Sly. Feels good to be here instead of stressed out Cali 🍻
I look forward to this walk in March too as I'll be in Panama however, why would you tag Cali as 'stressful'? Since it's part of my itinerary, any heads up would be appreciated! :)
@@richardwambua254 I've got one month left in Cali, before I move to Ciudad de Panama. Not only is Cali stressful, but it becomes more VIOLENT each day.
VERY helpful Video - thank you so much for sharing!!
Well done! Thank you for the tips! 🙏
Great job. Especially with the outlet and chargers. As a Black Woman I got to be able to plug in my curling irons and etc.😅😅😅
Great information and video! Thanks
definitely a helpful video! thanks for sharing!
Extraño mi patria! Panama 🇵🇦
Thank you for the info, I am planning a trip there this year
Wow. Beautiful panama. Would like to travel here one day
I work for a company that employs mostly Panamanians because they get paid significantly less than us in the US. I was surprised to hear their prices aren’t too far off from us here in America.
Plan to visit next year for a vacation. Helpful video!
We took a trip to panama city for 9 days around 8 years ago. I'm not sure what it's like now. Regarding the prices, he's pretty on point. We stayed in the middle of panama city and spent a few days way outside of it. We went to a few nicer restaurants in Panama city and they were pretty sub par. Casco Viejo (the old city) is pretty much like the hipster part of town. A bunch of people bought out the cheap part of town and turned it into bars and restaurants. It's actually pretty nice. You get to see the old architecture while drinking in house made IPA beers and decent food. Very chill place, people are nice. Didn't feel dangerous.
Thanks for details, informative and will help me, especially about cell phone
What a gorgeous city ❤
Good video as always👍🏾 The area you were walking in looks just like my hometown the DMV area.
I Agree with You...thanks to be in 🇵🇦Blessing💯..
Was there in 2018, will come again in 2022. Great city.
Good video. Thanks for letting us all know what's up
Thanks, good information!
Appreciate this video brother. Heading out from Maryland next week to visit a few days. VERY INFORMATIVE!
I lived there from March 1984 - March 1986 in the U.S. Army on Ft. Kobbe. I am going to make a visit this year and I appreciate your video and insight. Thanks!
Fort Kobee, was by Pacific Ocean, after crossing the Las Americas Bridge from Panama City. Near by the Radio Station. Near by Diablo

Thank you so much
Waoooooo bellissima panama 🇵🇦
This was really helpful. I’m excited to hear there’s a rainforest within city limits. I love to hike and I love living near water and the thought that I can have both while staying in PC is exciting.
I was there 15 January to 22 January .Best time
Yes, very safe! The people are very friendly. The groceries I noticed were on the high side compared to the United States.
Ima go back to my moms old home :)
Nice!
Man when it rains it's no joke! You will see rivers flowing down the street lol I remember coming back from the canal it was sunny and beautiful. By the time I got off of the elevator at the apartment it was absolutely pouring!
Be prepared for all weather in Panama!
Also if your wearing shorts all of the time they know your a gringo lol. So move accordingly.
That`s a good fact to know. I wear shorts only............
That's true, even in Panama wheater have high humity, sunny and 30 to 35 celcius, panamanians usually wear jeans(yes I know sounds crazy), specially in the city because work or one of the reason is that goverment buildings did not allow shorts in 90's until today(yes sounds stupid but It's what it is) , so I guess it's become in a some kind of common tradition with pass of decades (tourists don't worry about that). Usually we wear shorts for trecking, walking, trips to mountains, beaches, rivers, etc), sports and home. Specially on weekends.
@@edgardomunoz2688 young Panamanians, under 30, wear shorts outside of work. Older Panamanians are the ones you'll see wearing long pants.
So true. We are used to the weather that's why we were long pants, blazers, sweaters, etc...besides is pretty freezing in some places with a/c.
@@guillermogouldburn763 yes that's right. I hope in the next years shorts pants became normal on all places, like Australia, Florida or California.
Very nice video- good points. Thanks!
Panama city Panama seems like a secret paradise
Unfortunately if you look at the photos recently on Google maps, looks like there's a ton of garbage all over the beaches...
Just an FYI, Dont walk around with nice watches, you will get robbed anywhere, the odds are low but they do not discriminate on location, you are just putting a target on yourself, also nice cars stand out here more than anything, so if you are driving a nice car, do not park in shady area or places that dont have alot of foot trafic, Panama is very safe, but if you go around flashing nice stuff you will just temp people to do things.
Wow I am impressed. I'd rather go here than Mexico
I'll be traveling to Panama in a few days. Great video and perfect timing!
Do you mind saying where you stayed during your panama trip?
@@sheiladoeman8053 I stayed at the Aloft, and it was around $82 a night. Its near the Multiplaza Mall which was a good place to hangout. I highly recommend it!
@@btjazzfann thank you
Really like the quality of your videos both day and night. What kind of camera do you use?
Yeah, right?!! Which camera is that, Sly?
A good one. Duh ?
Inflation is killing my budget and my salary, I can't invest and it seems like I will need to sell a part of my stock portfolio to keep my head above the water this time.
@@sakhill10 There's a lot around crypto and the economics at large; you must learn to buy high in other to sell low, or buy low in order to sell high.
@@robieremz9551 When it comes to the world of crypto investment, most people don't know where to start. Fortunately, great investors of the past and present can provide us with guidance.
This is a great video because there is actually solid information in it. How is Covid policies there? Is it crazy or relaxed?
Thanks for promoting Panama! Hope you are enjoying your stay. Anything you need msg me.
beaches beautiful people friendly
4:56 she was giving you the eye, bro.
Is beautiful europe's love panama is very safe travels fun you right is vey safely paradise
Panamá cost of living is great not to forget that has a little bit of other countries in the world 🌎
i was at panama they are nice
Thanks for the tips. Very quick and straight forward! Did the airline or immigration hassle too much about a one way ticket or proof of a return ticket to your home country? I have heard that sometimes they are tricky about letting foreigners continue forward with one way tickets.
Just went through this today! I didn’t have a return ticket, but showed my hotel reservation end date instead. He accepted, but it would definitely be better to have the return ticket
@@michaelurban3540 I already went to Panama but in my case, the airline asked for the proof of onward travel, not the immigration. Just an FYI for others traveling.
Panama City was a lot cheaper when I was there in 2003. I was staying at Hotel Marbella for $27 a night and I could get a hamburger and soda combo for $1. From what I've heard, it's gotten more expensive since then. I didn't get to visit nearby Colón, but I met some white Mormon dudes who had served their 2-year mission there and they said they had no problems.
20 years is a long time, inflation happens.
Bro that was nineteen almost twenty years ago, ofcourse its going to be more expensive. Things get more expensive over time, after three years anywhere on the planet prices will be higher
Ive seenhamburgers for 18.00 in Panama, not a cheap destinatiom anymore
the entire skyline looks different now. the city is safer and much more advanced
@@CRAPO2011 nope. only uber is cheap. 3 bucks for a 15 minute ride
It usually rains like at 12-2 in the afternoon
I literally just got back. I wish I had gotten one of those sim cards
You know any good tour guides ? Where do you go for discount shopping? Thanks
I need to vist
Shawn and i moving to panama we was in high school in 1988 we love there our daughter Angelique is there right is a beautiful country
Thanks was it close to airport
Live here and personally love and prefer rainy season 🌧
Also, prices have gone up a lot just over the last two years.
They say that the USA exports its inflation due to being world reserve currency.
But then again, printing all that ronarona money didn't help either! That's probably the main source and reason why.
I'm coming during Memorial Day weekend this yr is it going to rain non-stop?
can you give me an idea of cost to rent a shop in downtown area and wat kind of business i can start ?
My Question, why is it that almost every vehicle that park in the area, something appear as concrete block has to be put behind the wheel ?
