recently purchased this pc as my first gaming pc and im very happy. Your video had great information, i bought the suggested WIFI antenna while watching. Cant wait for the upgrade video
I've watched many unboxing / review videos over the last week as I search for a new gaming pc. By far, your approach to this genre is second to none. Keep it up!
I have this one and after 2 years, apparently I will need to replace the RGB hub, which I am looking how the hell to do this. Great video! I learned a lot. I think that also made it to where where the RGB hub is.
Hey there! I just ordered this PC and am waiting for it to be delivered. I thought it just to play WoW Dragonflight on and am hoping it’s a good one for that? I don’t know much about computers at all so any advice for playing that game on this would be appreciated. Thank you so much!!
Prebuilt with adjustable BIOS settings, that's how it should be haha. 20:58 Does the P/E-core ratio apply mode work for non-K CPU's such as this 14400F when you underclock (such as setting P core ratio to 35, E core 28, does it really make the CPU not go over 3.5/2.8ghz)? Last time I checked software means to do it doesn't work since 12th gen, so it would be interesting to see if BIOS works (then I won't need to spend more on K CPUs haha)
Would this be a good pc for office work? I’m worried the 4060 is overkill. Looking for a plenty powerful computer for my dad. I figured a newer gen i5 was the way to go.
You linked some MSI fans to add as an upgrade. Have you put out a video on how to install them or know of a great video to walk someone through the process?
great review! i actually just bought this new pc because my cat also had a habit of sitting on my old pc and recently peed on top of it, instant death for my pc sigh. he won't be allowed near this one at all.
I wanna point out 13½ inches is 342mm 😋.... but msi says the forge 100r only fits up to 330m. I recently bought the 13th gen with 13700f and 4060. It looks like the pro motherboard, even though it was listed as only going up to 128gb of ram from the store.. really enjoying my machine so far, just looking to see what I can do with it when it comes time to upgrade!
I have a Asus Rog G10CE. I watched your video on the G10DK and putting in the 4070 gpu. Is my rig also compatible for the same upgrade to the 4070 instead of the 1660ti that it came with. Thanks.
I was eyeing this computer thinking ahead planning on getting this computer for Cyber Monday except the one that I plan on getting does not have the water cooling has the i5 13400 I believe same specifications. The question is if I sacrifice that sata port for more SSD storage, what is the maximum size it will support? Could I theoretically pop in a Samsung pro 990 4 terabyte SSD with a heatsink? Given how ventilated this computer seems to be I doubt the heat sink will be needed but better safe than sorry. And another thing, the VRAM is only 8 GB would this be compatible with the RTX 4070 TI which is 16? Would I have to upgrade the PSU or would it be okay?
Getting this pc on my birthday in 2 weeks. But its a i5 13400f so im scared about the performance.. 🙁 I will write back here on how my experience is. (New sub btw) And how much fps do you think it would run gta v with all high settings, but grass on the lowest since it takes like 30 fps for harely any visuals. And MSAA X8. And Frame generation? I can't find any video with these settings, and im not going to survive waiting to check myself. And i might not even be able to play because all I have is an 10 year old acer monitor. Hope it works 🙏🏼 but i hope to know the answer for the gta v. 😊
You mentioned that MSI should’ve added some heat sinks to extend the life of the PC to 5 years maybe. I have one I bought that was configurable in 2009 and it’s still running great even faster than some other PCs we bought for our kids. Does the PC nowadays not last more than 5 years?
Hey TechNitWit! Great video. Would you recommend getting a MSI CODEX R 14th Gen over an Acer Nitro 50 14th Gen? They are similarly spec'd and similarly priced.
I don't buy anything from MSI as their cooling is horrid. Also they don't have the best quality control. I actually bought a Cyberpower that was much better than this. The expensive MSI are even worse. Sorry folks, sad but true.
I bought from cyberpower years ago and couldn’t get through the boot up without it turning itself off every time. Sent it back to California to Cyberpower for them to tell me it works and got it back just for it to continue the same issue. So every company probably has issues to be honest.
@@sammybranch77 Well I was talking more about the Laptops, the more I read about these, the more I read how quiet, and reliable they are. And at least you KNOW you're getting 90% MSI products. Which years ago when I use to build PC's, I used many MSI parts. So sorry if my comment seemed a bit HARSH. But yeah Cyberpower might have been thermals, but CRAPPY parts overall. Agreed.

It will 100% do it and do it good 2k or in 4K

Now that's what i would call a good starter PC.
Agree! 100%

Would I be able to run monster Hunter wilds on this pc?
Can i run vr games on this
Yes
On a Victus i3 what CPU’s are compatible
i5 and i7 None K Skus

Will changing the cpu fan speed to 100 make the fans burnout quicker therefore having to replace them ?
Can you let us know the best CPU upgrade, and if this is good to run COD. Specifically Warzone!
It's more than good for warzone
Series X, PC's are good but they require to much hassle. Or a PS5
It is good for warzone!

I ordered this particular model today! Your video was a great help!
great video man
Appreciate it!
$980 @ newegg. How does it compare to Acer Nitro I5-14400 / 4060 in terms of quality?
will the 14th Gen intel i5 14400F work 40701?

The 13400F is actually slightly better, there is only like a 2-4% difference in this 14400f and the 13, so you have nothing to worry about.

Cyber power lasts for a year and dies on you like it's meant to start turning off after a certain time
