Thanx for the video, my Super Brella got ripped by the wind the other day here in Miami Beach. So I’m done with umbrella style beach shades. Question is, how well does it stand up to beach wind? In your opinion
I've been using mine , now and then here in the florida winds....works fine...here's an issue that I keep having with this tent...The pole sleeves keep sliding out of position and the rubber pole tabs that the pole ends go into pop out....that isn't really an issue but the slipping sleeves are a pain in the a**….they have to be in the proper position to raise the tent....
Great review, thanks! One question: The window covers are inside. So that means, wind can come in. Because there are only the few Velcros. Isn't that a problem? I mean it would be more efficient to make the covers outside and larger than the windows, that no wind can come in. What would you say?
No problem! They actually just came out with a bigger, better version. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but you might want to give it a look. It seems pretty awesome.
they all seem to have the same pop up system.....the key..is the wind.....the sand pockets must be large.....the stakes look way to small for our windy Florida beaches.....and we have terrible soft sand....
Just received mine, this thing is cool. Super easy to set up and great features like you described, now to test it at the beach. How is yours holding up?
Save your money. It’s not worth the heart break trying to make it pop open. I tried many times to pull the strings just like they did in the video didn’t work. Only thing I got was broken heart, frustrating for trying over and over again and feeling worthless for not being able to do something so simple. Oh did I mentions I got rope burns on both of my palms.

so far so good. I've only got to use it a couple times because work hasn't let me play as much as I want, but so far it's as good as new.

You can do it without using the ropes. Use the two hubs (one in each hand) works just as good.
